We are pleased to present Las Vegas's own SKYE on this weeks edition of L'Essentiel #181. SKYE, a USA based DJ and producer, has always felt the calling of underground music. She broke into the music industry in 2012 as a professional dancer performing at various clubs and music festivals. In 2015, the seductive sounds of both house and techno propelled her down the path of DJing and producing, which is where she has found her true passion and permanent place in the music scene. SKYE’s hypnotic DJ sets and her spunky personality have led her to be entrusted with music selection at some of the best venues for underground music. SKYE has held residencies at the infamous Drais After Hours and Techno Taco Tuesday. Her current residencies include Discopussy and Kassi Beach House. She broke into the festival scene in 2022 playing at Insomniac’s Electric Daisy Carnival and their New Year’s Eve Festival, Countdown. She also made her debut at Las Vegas’s most well known festival, Life is Beautiful in 2022. Some of her other performances to be spotlighted include her recent sets at Bang Bang (San Diego), Sound Nightclub (LA), The Trip (Miami), and Pollos Locos (Dallas). Get ready to dance the night away with SKYE on this weeks edition of L'Essentiel #181!

Heart pumping rhythms, deep space ambience, and blooming climaxes; Daizy tends a garden of sound where all are welcome. Curating these journeys alongside Maceo Plex, Solomun, Carl Craig and more - Daizy always brings a professional fidelity to her sets.

Born and raised in Miami, she grew up surrounded and inspired by a diverse music scene. At 17, she moved to Tel Aviv where she began DJing — Discovering and developing a sound that is rooted in Israeli culture. Daizy's career continues to grow, landing her bookings at Miami’s Club Space, Detroit's Movement Festival, Boiler Room + more.

This year, she returns to III Points for her third year to close out the ODD Stage on Friday, October 20th.

We return once again to 𝘝𝘖𝘓 𝘐, the debut compilation from 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝘀 who has been using underground club music to support real causes. All proceeds from this 33-track release go to families displaced by war in Lebanon, with direct help provided by Beirut Synth Center.

Today’s premiere comes from 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗱 whose focus on detail and emotional depth shines throughout 𝘉𝘦𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘗𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘴. The track starts with gentle percussion and drifting textures, but midway it shifts gears: crisp rhythmic pulses emerge, the sounds get sharper and the energy builds into a more pronounced, dancefloor ready vibe.

Born and raised in Chicago, Dahnéza grew up playing piano and almost always had music playing – likely to the annoyance of his past roommates. He fully discovered the underground (or rather, the underground found him) during a life changing experience while in Ibiza for the 2018 closing parties. Dahnéza released his first mix in 2019 and his first club gig shortly followed. He looks forward to sharing his energy and experiences through music as he continues on his life jOURney.
