For the past two summers, i have the privilege to share my point of view on life, my mood and my creation through the divine tool of music and DJing. This set was recorded live, at the musical home @hiltonbay just as the summer ends, and provided me an opportunity to share the music and inspirations that escorted me for the past 5 months. You can also hear me playing my electric Oud from time to time.

Back in the 1960s, a groundbreaking musician helped shape an entirely new genre—surf rock. His name was Dick Dale. You might know him from his electrifying performance of the Greek hymn Misirlou in Pulp Fiction, but not everyone realizes the depth of his influence, especially among guitarists. He was truly a guitarist’s guitarist.
As a tribute to his legacy, I’ve created an electronic edit of his powerful rendition of Hava Nagila, an iconic Eastern European Jewish Hasidic chant. I’ve infused it with my own guitar recordings, a fresh solo, and electronic beats, blending tradition with modern sound.

Guilty of All is an ancient jewish chant (Piyut in hebrew) coming from the Iraki/Babylonian jewish community.
It is singed at the most sacred time of the jewish calender, Yom Kippur, where we ask for forgiveness from our god at the beginning of the new year.
The chant is preformed here by one of the most impressive jewish Iraki chant singer and a worldwide expert of Iraki makam music, Moshe Havusha.

Middle Eastern Sun Set

Written almost 900 years ago in Egypt, Mount Horev is the oldest hebrew liturgical poem (also known as ‘Piyut’) ever found. Originally composed by Rabbi Ovadia Hager, who migrated from Italy to Egypt, the song combines Middle Eastern and ancient European influences. Mount Horev, tells the biblical story of Mount Sinai and Moses’s journey, yet it also hides an ancient prophecy - liturgical songs were used to convey deep spiritual meanings as a way to transfer knowledge at a time in history when spiritual teachings passed by a word of mouth, from one generation to the next. Its prophecy talks about the need of spiritual awakening, and the required unity of the tribes.
Jerusalem born producers Gio Israel and OHAD discovered an old recording of Mount Horev in the sound archive of the Jeiwsh National Library. The production process didn’t take long. “The moment we played a beat on top of it the magic all happened by itself, it’s as if this ancient song was waiting to be rediscovered”. 
Ever Since its production ‘Mount Horev’ was played many times around the world, from Black Rock city to the Mexican Playas, and now, for this celebration of the holy days of light, it is presented as a gift to the world.
