Dreams, an artist known for his label & event series Private Selection, is set to release his first record since 2020 on a new label he founded this year, called Dance Data. 

The B side, 'Vessel', marks one of his first releases at this velocity - each groove feels hypnotic and gives weight into the next moment. A blistering saw bassline tightly sits on top of live recordings of brazilian percussion – and the dark and tribal energy fits the A-side as a perfectly paired, yet still unanticipated counterpart. As his first offering since a 2020 hiatus, it is refreshing to see Dreams pulling from his roots with 'Paraxotica' while also coming in with a more organic approach as is heard on 'Vessel'.

Pre-orders for the 12" vinyl are available now, which come with a custom hand made insert.

It’s podcast time, and we’ve got a biggie for you today that we’re especially excited to present. This is Vision 021 w/ CIAIC!

@fra-ciaic is an Italian DJ based in Paris and a resident at Radio Flouka, where he runs his show “Give it a Break”. Influenced mostly by bass music, his sound pulls from both sides of the ocean, blending moods and tempos while always keeping a strong focus on rhythm and percussion — just the way we like it.

This mix is all about UK bass, diving into UK funky, dubstep, Baltimore club, and trap. In his own words: “the idea behind this mix was to put together some bouncy, wobbly tracks and showcase my influences while keeping it fun and dancefloor-oriented. This is probably the mix I had the most fun recording”.

The Refugees Right of Return

Since 1948 to present, Israel’s culture of ethnic cleansing and dispossession of Palestinian Land has devised a perpetual cycle of expulsion. Millions of first, second and third generation refugees continue to inhabit camps, doomed to an impoverished exile. Over a million Palestinians have been killed in exodus from Zionist imposed famine, poverty and displacement, with no right to return to their homeland.

The photographs taken during the Nakba, mirror those taken today of the Palestinians who are being forcibly displaced from Gaza.

This release is dedicated to the men, woman and children who continue to navigate their exile in limbo.

To the woman who innovated our textiles and wrote the history and culture of Palestine with their needles.  

To the men who planted our olive and orange trees, harvested by strange hands.

To the children who had their childhood stolen, separated from the umbilical cords that once connected them to their land.

To the Palestinians who have died in exile, that never...  more
