After countless hours spent chopping up vinyl, laying down basslines, tweaking synthesizers and banging on drum pads I'm proud to present "I'm Gone". This album aims to bring back the soulful sounds of the past while maintaining a bass-heavy modern feel. I'm especially happy with two tracks on the album which feature my friend Willdabeast (of Snug Harbour and Michal Menert Big Band). Will laid down some soulful horns, flute and a few other instruments to take my sample-based beats to the next level. After the amazing response from my first wobbletape, I had to begin work on another! Thank you everyone who supported and helped spread wobbletape 1. 

I have worked on collecting music and arranging  this mix for many moons, and it all came together for my good friend @cattDabb’s 30th birthday celebration! 

This mix once again inspired greatly by Tape-B, also features the one and only Daily Bread as his FlashFlood II release was one of the best front to back albums I have had the pleasure of listening to.

While I love to highlight some of my favorite artists.  I like to find remixes, and make my flips to songs that haven't been widely used yet, so I hope that I can find y'all some new unheard Gems!

A-side - Basin to Benin brings together Lotus and The Soul Rebels on a groove inspired by 70's West African funk with the brassy sounds of New Orleans. 

B-side - Tarot mixes Hammond Organ, Wurltizer, and an Octave Cat analog synthesizer in a thick funk-rock groove. Throw in some tape-delays and phasers for a heady stew.

Recorded and mixed at Miner Street Studio (Philadelphia) with Matt Schimelfenig. Soul Rebels horns recorded by Tim Stambaugh at Word of Mouth (New Orleans). Music by Jesse Miller. Produced by Jesse Miller and Luke Miller.
