I am as shocked and down as all of you. Besides the injustices that could happen to a lot of human beings, I am extremely concerned with what will happen to the environment and the innocent animals. We do not talk much about the pain and violence we cause to the animals. I just give you one statistic I read on the site EcoWatch. Between 1970-2012, we have destroyed or killed about 66% of the animals on earth. That is a tragic figure. The rest of other stuff are common threads for all of us. Farzin Shokooh

IMHO ... It is not rocket science.  It happened due to a confluence of (1) a devastating picture that emerged from the Wikileaks revelations; (2) a terrible campaign that was 80-90% about how bad Donald is; (3) hiding out instead of being out there campaigning like Trump was; (4) concerns about her health, etc.  The vote is a clear, yet inchoate cry for radical change.

I listened to your conversation from France. US elections in 2016, French ones in 2017... Similar gap between the supposed left elites and the majority of the population, predominantly between red and amber... Here six month before the presidential ellection, people at green or second tier level don't want to go to vote, because they don't want to vote "against" someone and there are no candidate that fit ethically to their position. I feel in line with your comment about the duty of second tier people to go out of their cocoon, then to gather and becoming a secret army of activists who will take part to the political destiny of this planet and take care of all people needs and perspectives, regardless of their level of develpment, in a non condescending, non patronizing way. This is our duty, as it is our duty to keep on the track of self and mutual growth within this second tier community. Thank you for this beautiful broadcast..

I feel as if I am listening to the "Boomeritis" version of Spiral Dynamics. There is a whiney and pretentious intellectual tone to much of this program. A few good points are made, yet all in all, it is straining to listen to. Spiral Dynamics and Integral Theory are a mental framework that must be released to be mastered, otherwise, an elitist ego develops. Just as the Crazy Wisdom of Adi Da is the Perfect antidote to the elitist trappings of "Integral Consciousness", Trump is the guru figure that pokes the Liberal Ego to show it that has a ways to go before it is free from fear.

Every once in awhile, it's good to listen to Jeff, just so one doesn't give in to utter dispair.

Diane Hamilton is so damn smart. We need more of her political insights.

Instead we, like millions of people, are trying to come to terms with the victory of Donald Trump. Suddenly we are in a new world dealing with questions like:

-Why did this happen?
-What do we need to see?
-How might we respond?
