UK DJ/producer SOSA lands on Jamie Jones’ Hottrax this May with a bumping house two-tracker ‘The Wave’. 

Following releases on Cuttin’ Headz, Solid Grooves Raw & Sola, not to mention his own imprint COCO, Liverpool-based SOSA arrives on Jamie Jones’ revered Hottrax imprint with ‘The Wave’, bringing a dose of fast-paced, bass-heavy house music for his debut. 

Title cut ‘The Wave’ sees swung, intricate percussion dance around heavy low-end pressure, introducing hyped vocals and sizzling risers throughout the track for pure dancefloor pandemonium. Flicking between bouncing, syncopated basslines, ‘Warp Speed’ wraps itself around chunky percussion and vocal samples for a thrilling conclusion to a high energy EP. 

With supporters like Alan Fitzpatrick, Skream and the Martinez Brothers as well as love from Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Annie Mac, SOSA is at the vanguard of a new wave of house producers set to dominate in 2021 and beyond.

Solid Grooves reveals the fourth instalment of its 'Raw Grooves' series as Carloh, CHKLTE and Shokë return alongside a wealth of new names including Francis De Simone and Inavo.

Launched as a home for impactful club-focused productions, Solid Grooves' sister imprint Solid Grooves Raw has released some of the collective's biggest go-to anthems of late, with artists such as Josh Butler, Ramin Rezaie, Beltran, JUST2 and Antss dropping heat on the label.

Usually an annual fixture in the calendar, 2022 becomes the first year to see two VA offerings on the imprint as the UK favourites return with the fourth volume of 'Raw Grooves', locked and loaded with both returning and fresh talent. 'Permission' is a piece of modern tech-house with a 303 bassline and a oldschool rap vocal sample. The perfect Dj tool that works either in big rooms and cool dancefloors. For the remix, the Solid Grooves usual suspect Bassel Darwish delivered a mint remix keeping the essence of the track but bringing the track into his own territory: fat and raw, hypnotic and elegant.
