After some much needed solo time throughout the Fall, our Chillhop Raccoon closes out a year of Essentials by reuniting with best friends for a fun-filled and social Winter. Chillville is covered in snow, everything is closed, and this frosted metropolis feels like a new city worth exploring again. Skating and sledding then snowball fights and snow angels, only to eventually return indoors and cozy up under a blanket. 

At 26 songs with 38 musicians, Essentials Winter 2022 marks the 28th seasonal compilation since beginning back in 2016. Lofi and cozy, jazzy and alive, press play and stay warm.

With over 40 musicians across 28 tracks, Essentials Spring 2023 might be our most treasured one yet. Featuring a who's who of some of our favorite musicians in the community, we present a 2xLP to keep everyone vibrant and alive as the seasons change and days start to warm.

"Pure", my second single from my upcoming beat tape, released today. Recorded in my home studio, using live instruments processed through cassette tape, the song is inspired by 70s soul and blends vintage sounds with modern beats. With its warm tones, "Pure" evokes nostalgia while remaining contemporary. It’s one of my personal favourites I’ve released so far, and fits the musical theme of my previous single “Complicated”.
