Daimster was born in Utrecht in 1979 and moved to Amsterdam in 1990.  
 
Before too long, as an 11-year-old kid, he got his first small DJ system, with a simple mixer and 2 Technics 2000 turntables.  
 
After a few years creating mixtapes in his attic room, these seminal mixes eventually found their way to the ears of a number of Amsterdam club owners. And at 16,  Daimster got his opportunity behind the decks at a club on Leidseplein, performing live in the heart of  Amsterdam's vibrant night life.  
A Friday and Saturday night residency in that club soon followed.  After a few years he had gained a regular loyal following and had established his reputation as one of the wildest new DJs on the Amsterdam dance scene. 
These hard working formative years brought him to the attention of many more club owners beyond Amsterdam and subsequently many promotion companies throughout Europe.  
During 2003 and 2004 Daimster performed at Mysteryland NL and went on to tour Europe bringing his energy filled sets to his ever expanding fan base.  
  
In more recent years and certainly since COVID came into all our lives, Daimster has devoted less time to live shows but has concentrated his attention to the studio. 
This time has been spent further crafting his DJ techniques while adding production and studio engineering skills to his armory.
