Dainjamouth is what we call a 'Human Beatbox' or a 'Vocal Percussionist', he is well known in the Plymouth/Cornwall area and now has fans Worldwide. 
If you have never heard of Beatboxing before it basically is an element of Hip-Hop which is currently growing worldwide and becoming more popular in the UK especially. Beatboxing, aka vocal percussion, is primarily concerned with the art of creating beats and rhythms using the human mouth. However, it also involves the imitation of sounds such as scratching, imitating DJ's and various other sound effects all from a persons mouth.


Dainja is well known by most people in Plymouth for having this extraordinary talent, this talent involves amazing crowds in many different ways. 
Dainjamouth started off hosting and co hosting shows in Plymouth with a well know entertainment group called Beat-Breakers Entertainment, that included Breakdancing, Singing, Dj'ing, Rapping and his talent Beatboxing. Beat-Breakers have been a well known group in Plymouth since around 2002, when it just started off as a Breakdancing group, and has grown successfully over the years from being a small group of 5 to a large group of 20. Dainjamouth was also a guest on BBC2 show 'Eggheads' which showed him beatboxing on tv for the first time. Dainjamouth has also performed with Big Beats a Junk Percussion band 2 years in a row at Glastonbury Festival.

Dainjamouth belonged to Greasy Vinyl, a crew consisting of Hip-Hop artists from South West & the Black Country, check out www.greasyvinyl.com
So far Dainjamouth has co hosted the Souls Of Mischief & Contact Play gig which was held in White Rabbit, and performed alongside Junk & Percussion band 'Big Beat' at GLASTONBURY 2010 & 2011! but this is just the beginning..........
