Releasing this in tandem with my latest set. Askew's remix of Sherry's 'Music of the Earth' featured in my first ever mashup back in April 2021. Pairing it with 'Strange World' by Push, one of the greatest trance tracks of all time, is a pretty high honor to bestow. I really liked making this one.

Been a strange year for me, not all bad, but one that left me to do alot of soul-searching. I've spent almost half the year taking a hiatus from dance music & DJing. It's been tough, because it's what makes me truly feel like myself, but it's also made me reconnect with myself at my core and made me learn not to put so much pressure on myself.

This set isn't perfect, none of them are, but I've put so much pressure on myself to iron out those imperfections over the past year. I've been so incredibly burnt out as a result in almost everything I do, absolutely nothing I did was something I could be satisfied with. But rediscovering my love for this music, made me rediscover how fucking fun it is to do what I do. Even effectively shitting the bed with my mix 2 hours in couldn't stop that lmfao. 

Even if you only listen to some of my mixes, thank you for being a part of something that means so much to me. There's more to come from me in the future ❤️

Felt so good after this set I had to upload it immediately. So this set is only an hour as it's a Tomorrowland Special kind of set. I loved planning out exactly what I was gonna play in this set throughout the past week and it reminds me why I love doing this so much. Plenty of new music to unpack in this set, So many new tracks stood out for me tonight especially two in particular, Jase Thirlwall's second track with the amazing voice of Victoriya is here, After their incredible track from last year "Dust" they bounce back this year with "Drowning". However as great as that track was Talla 2XLC's "Illusion" really got to me, it's an incredible track that is from a producer that has really been on fire this month.

So happy to be back after a 2 week break. I think it's safe to say that September has been my favourite month for trance so far this year, all the new music in this set really solidified that. New music from all kinds of artists but 2 in particular really resonated with me, Billy Gillies with another sensational song from September, 'See You Again', and the tune of the week, Sean Tyas' 'The Rhythm' is honestly one of my favourite songs of this year so far.

1st October 2020 [Trance Set]

With the tragic death of great techno talent Garrett Lockhart, aka i_o, I had to dedicate the first track to him. RIP Garrett.
After a 2 week break I return to play new trance music in droves. With Will Atkinson's phenomenal new track 'Rush' getting it's official release today and some new tracks from Sneijder's upcoming Afterdark Compilation 3, I had alot to be excited about. Also I should mention the brilliant psy trance from Vini Vici's 'Life's A Remix' Album which features alot in this set.
