"I recorded this mix on my home setup overlooking the river Thames in London. I wanted to create a soundscape that feels like an energetic warm bath of organic bassy sounds, held together by indulgent long blends which gently blur the edges of where each track begins and ends. I wanted it to be an energetic yet calming listening experience that can both inject energy in a grounded way and evoke moments of inspiration in your day-to-day motions."

Classically trained producer / DJ @soundsofluxe is flying right now. The London based artist has risen astronomically with a hue year in 2022, 2023 sees her dropping releases coming on Dansu Discs, Planet Euphorique (10 March) and some further major projects in the pipeline. At the forefront of new-gen rave, hardcore, trance - she is one to watch and has been killing it alongside peers such as Angel D’Lite, Mixtress and more.

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community 
Hmm, I would say be inspired by and connect with other people, nature, life , parties or whatever gets you going, exploring different avenues, but always be true to your own individual sound. The more you make, the more you dance, and the more you mix your sound will find you. Do what makes you happy, practice, dig for your life, and if you work hard enough your time will come bbz. Take time to have fun with your friends ! Coz at the end of the day, that’s all that is really guaranteed in this fickle industry, without selling your soul of course ! And ask yourself, is this for love or money? Money ofc can bring happiness and stability, but shared experiences are worth more. Learn to really love yourself and put your mental health first.

❁ Something else I would like to highlight is HEARING PROTECTION! ! ! ! !  
I absolutely recommend getting moulded hearing protection coz the club is sometimes just too damn loud. Let’s make the most of life and what we have, and if you’re blessed with hearing I suggest you cherish it and look after it. You can get cute funky colours and they will become a cute raving accessory. Its also way easier to hear your friends in the club and you won’t need to shout. It means you can enjoy the subs and be closer to the speakers safely. I have a dear friend who is suffering currently and it affects a lot more than just your precious ears lemme tell you.  This doesn’t just apply to DJs, anyone working in a club, or raving. PLEASE !  Theres something in London, the Musicians’ Hearing Health Scheme, which some people are lucky enough to benefit from, give it a go, its mega discounted, but even if it isn’t.. Treat yourself.
