Building on the themes of identity, storytelling and experimentation from her critically acclaimed debut album, Khonnar (2018), 'Jbal Rrsas' is the next chapter of a reimagining of what club music could be. The album spans seven tracks of bass, techno, and experimental music, with Abdelwahed consulting with masterminds such as Tunisian composer and multi-instrumentalist Khalil Hentati, aka Khalil Epi, and Iraqi-British multi-instrumentalist, composer, and researcher Khyam Allami, as well as Egyptian mastering engineer Heba Kadry, to help realise her vision.

Redance is a DJ/Producer, based in New Orleans. Born in Venezuela w/ Chilean roots, Redance's family Immigrated to South Florida when he was 8. It was in this tropical playground where at the tender age of 11, he found his way onto the dancefloor of "Visions Nightclub" and has never looked back. Raised by the bubbling & diverse, underground club community of Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, Redance developed his love of thundering low end, soulful acapellas and experimental grooves. It is this sound that has guided his craft, and lifelong passion for creating hot & sultry dancefloors.

Another week, another live set recorded for posterity! As a testament to history, proving that the underground still thrives in Berlin, this recording brings us closest to experiencing once again what was a magical night in a secret location. We’re thrilled to present Vision 019 w/ SUCHI!

With synth-soaked melodies, lush sounds, and a mishmash of culturally influenced tracks featuring vocals ranging from Qawwali artist Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan to reggaeton-influenced Latin singers, the set perfectly showcases @suchisuchi's diverse background and the many different sources of inspiration that fuel her creative process. Many of her own productions are gracefully mixed in here, seamlessly blending with the rest of the surprises she cooked up for us last March, including works from Breaka, Peder Mannerfelt or Ian Pooley, just to name a few.
