Chicago Footwork legend DJ MANNY is back on Moveltraxx with a new EP, 1 year after his classic "Feet Start Dancing" EP and a few months after his Planet Mu LP. 

On this new record, the Teklife mainstay explores Jungle, Ghetto House and Dancehall influences, flawlessly incorporating those in his always boundaries-pushing Juke and Footwork formula. EP opener "Feel The Love" pays homage to Stardust's French Touch classic "Music Sound Better With You" while "Get Freaky" gives you a taste of what a 2024 Dance Mania record would probably sound like. Eponymous track "Escape Reality" manages to be both meditative and banging and "Reggae My Way" is probably the most unique Footwork record you have heard in ages. Street Bangers Factory classic "Go Down" closes the EP as a bonus track. 

Recently named by Mixmag "Artist That Made 2023", it's clear that Manny has no intention to slow things down in 2024.

For our 12th release we decided to head back to the Bay for another helping from D-Program & Rivs. They put in so much work on the last release that there were a few tunes leftover. Rather than just saving them for sets or forgetting about them on the hard drive, we decided to put them out! D-Program stripped down the title track of his EP “Street Sheet” and served back to us! This tune is perfect for those that like it fast and minimal! While this was happening Rivs slicing and dicing breaks like it was his first day in a new kitchen! He calls his remix of a remix his “chop page VIP”. To go with these leftover dubs we had 20 lath cut records made! For the first time ever we got ourselves pressed on wax!

'Around the World in UKG, Vol. 4' is the forthcoming compilation from UKG and bass label Garage Shared. The outfit was awarded BeatPortal's 'Label Of The Month' in August last year and has been one of the most prolific labels of the re-formed UKG scene, releasing music styled by the likes of Interplanetary Criminal, Conducta, Salute and Sammy Virgi to the masses. 

The compilation features work from label mainstays all wrapped in its signature new-gen aesthetic.

In the last five years, Garage Shared has been intrinsic to the renewed energy coming out of the UKG scene. When the label first launched it was off the back of FooR’s curation of 2017’s entry in the iconic Pure Garage compilation series.

French collective Craquages present their second VA 'CRAQUAGES VOL.2', gathering 11 tracks crafted by carefully selected artists from the Bass/Break scene, asking each to paint their personnal view of "club music". BisouBisou, one of the 3 co-founders, who rides between the sugary tracks of his mix series R’n’Break and the bitter beats of his duo Les Déménageurs Bressons, comes strong with his track 'Kassos Social Club' on this compilation.

With this track, BisouBisou conveys his personnal view of what creates that jubilation when playing club tools, scrounging here and there in his prefered electronic styles like DnB, Juke and Techno music selected elements and details. 'Kassos Social Club', with its twisted and glitched breaks alongside gripping drums and minimalist vocals, comes out as a redoubtable club tool that'll definitely shake the dancefloors that'll encounter its power.
