DP is a Rap artist who was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. His favorite artists are 2Pac, Kanye West, Lil' Wayne and DMX. DP's inspiration comes from his children, Grandmother and his life experiences. DP has his own style and unique rap flow delivery. His grandfather was known for singing, and his mother could sing too. DP inherited their musical talent. DP started rapping in 2007. DP used to write his lyrics in a yellow notepad which his friends affectionately called him "Linus from Charlie Brown." Since 2013, DP has freestyled all his lyrics and evolved from using pen, paper and all writing instruments, to keep the creation process between only him and the recording booth. After some years of hibernation, the Beast has decided to pick the microphone back up and show the world what the game's been missing.
