PERE is the new electronic project of Shahar Amit aka Tribone. Born and raised in Israel, Shahar has been traveling around the world, gathering multicultural influences from the dynamic scenes of Australia, Europe, and The Americas.

This track also features the instrumental work of acclaimed musician Si Mullumby (Wild Marmalade) who masterfully wields his didgeridoo to illustrate the song across more than seven minutes of hypnotic rhythms and beats. Listen for a colorful glimpse into the sounds to come from two of the psychedelic underground’s most esteemed electronic producers as they explore the landscapes of tribal house music.

Full album, ‘Afar’, arrives July 30th on Desert Trax.

As a remixer, Makyo has worked with Cheb-i-Sabbah, Natacha Atlas, Transglobal Underground, Adham Shaikh, Solace, Omar Faruk Tekbilek, Kaya Project, and Shahin Badar, while Bill Laswell and System 7 have remixed Makyo tracks. Makyo's music has also featured on mix cds by Alex Patterson (The Orb), Youth, and Mixmaster Morris. As an early pioneer of the asian-electronic sound, Makyo has developed his sound contemporaneously with producers like Banco de Gaia, Loop Guru, Talvin Singh, and Karsh Kale.
