On a planet not unlike Earth, resides a highly creative and highly advanced ancient species. Though few in number, this species is known throughout their star system as the creators of the Heaver-Cannon; a massive device intricately designed to be capable of picking up frequencies across the universe with tremendous range. Whilst operating this device, one of such creatures happened to stumble upon a signal 16 light years away originating on the planet Earth. The creature heard what he came to know as dark techno, a style of expression he found so appealing he renamed himself as best he could pronounce it in the human tongue - DakTeK.

DakTeK learned the ways of mixing and for 10 Earth years honed his skills and knowledge. He felt a strong desire to share his love of music with humanity but due to his extensive knowledge of the Heaver-Cannon, DakTeK was forbidden to leave his home planet. The technology behind this device possesses such colossal power that the rare few who engineered it are forever isolated and protected, lest such potentially devastating technology fall into the wrong hands and be altered to cause harm. But DakTeK secretely broke his planets law when after tireless toil he discovered how to fragment his personality and send a part of his consciousness through the Heaver-Cannon to merge with a capable and willing human host. Today DakTeK is present in Perth finally executing his musical mission.
