MTDL39 comes from Italian producer Atove. He has had several releases on prestigious labels including Roush, Sanity, Lapsus and his music received honourable plays from the likes of Hector Couto, Cuartero and Waff, Sam Divine to name but a few. Now he joins the Madtech roster with the belter of a track 'Ground One'.

Nottingham’s Latmun arrives on Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records with three energy fuelled house cuts, whilst Crosstown Rebel favourite Russ Yallop rounds out the EP on remix duties.

After an initial foray into production at the end of 2014, Latmun aka Joe Bradley’s sharp rise has garnered the attention and support of many including Lee Foss, Claptone, Darius Syrossian and Skream. The past year has seen the UK talent release on a host of distinguished labels such as VIVa, El Row, Toolroom and Mar-T’s Wow! Recordings.

‘Cosmic’ kicks off the release with a selection of rumbling low end tones, stuttering vocal samples and reverberating sirens before ‘Break’ utilises engaging rhythm and evolving stabs to reveal a heady groove that’s packed full of swing. ‘Steez’ then utilises organic percussion and vocal whirrs to hold and maintain the attention of the floor, until Russ Yallop’s remix of ‘Cosmic’ reshapes the original, building on the crisp percussive elements and low-slung rhythms.

Kicking things off is Cristian Varela with his brand new track ‘EK0L0G1K’ which delivers textural synths over a heavy bassline. Next up is long-standing Rhythm Distrikt favourite, Dino Maggiorana with the instantly memorable ‘Deep Inside’. A track which offers the perfect combination of drums and melodic FX patterns with a hooky vocal layered over the top. Joe Mesmar returns to the label with ‘I’ll Be’, and in true Mesmar fashion, this one promises something a little more atmospheric with clever FX and hypnotic synths used in all the right places. Axel Karakasis is welcomed back with his rough and ready ‘Layer’ which captures that distinct, raw, Rhythm Distrikt sound. Other highlights include Durtysoxxx’s peak-time roller, ’Spam’, Tomy DeClerque & Dani Sbert’s hard-hitting ‘Overload’, Optimuss’ addictive groover, ’On The Limit’ and Gayle San’s sinister ‘Border’. Completing the package is Groovebox & Paralyze Idea’s ‘Echo Lake’ and Rhythm Distrikt newcomer Hiroyuki Arakawa with his debut track on the label ‘Alexander’. Jam-packed with ten brand new killer cuts for the tougher dance floors, ‘Rhythm Distrikt 16’ looks set to destroy dancefloors the world over!
