It was back in March that Claptone unveiled his latest single, the infectious and hypnotic groove ‘The Drums (Din Daa Daa) Ft. George Kranz’. The tune has gone on to become something of a dancefloor sensation across the globe since first emerging as the ubiquitous weapon-of-choice at this year’s Miami Music Week. Now Spanish Tech House titan Dennis Cruz, exploding UK talent Latmun and BBC R1 favourite Friend Within deliver three peak-time remixes to continue the story deep into the summer. 
 
The original is the next summer anthem to come from the masked man, now an annual event that has seen Claptone release four consecutive holiday-time cuts that have soundtracked the Ibiza and festival season. That run started with ‘Cream’ back in 2012, the now legendary ‘No Eyes’, THAT remix of Gregory Porter and last summer’s runaway Golden Summer theme 'In The City'.
 
The original started life as a Claptone club tool, a voodoo spell road-tested and refined in clubs all over the world on his never-ending tour.  Claptone took inspiration from the post-punk melting pot of early 80’s NYC when he connected with the pioneering George Kranz who originally made the drums dance over 30 years ago. The result is a meeting of minds and rhythms, pure gold in the hands of headline DJs.

Proving he knows how to work a dancefloor, rising star Latmun makes his debut on Hot Creations with the mighty Footsteps, featuring vocalist Amy Douglas. In equal measure, the B Side Piquant delivers another heavy hitter.

A certified tech house bomb, Footsteps is full fire from of the off. New York based vocalist, Amy Douglas, brings extra heat, adding a distinct intensity in the build up. With a current track out on Soul Clap Records and an upcoming EP with Juan MacLean as part of their Peach Melba project, Amy is one to keep an eye on. One the flip Piquant offers another peak time killer for the dance floor.

Latmun shot into the limelight in 2016 with 3 great of EP’s.His Def EP on VIVa received support from heavyweights like Skream, Claptone, Claude Vonstroke, Matthias Tanzmann, Steve Lawler and many more. The following releases on Wow! Recordings and Leftwing & Kody's Lost Records had similar success. In 2017 he released his biggest to date, the Everybody’s Dancin’ EP on Relief.

Fast-rising Balcan newcomer Reblok presents his scintillating Hot Creations debut single Smile, released this October on the acclaimed label.

The fist-pumping groove of Smile opens the release, driving hi-hats are introduced, bounding into anthemic pop-rap vocals, alongside playful keys that add colour to ignite the dance floor. On Roots the sense of fun is continued, snare-rolls combine with mouth-watering filtered synth and springy samples, creating a heads-down, hands up tool.

Originally from Croatia but now residing in Serbia, Goran Paradinja also known as Reblok is one of the best newcomers to the scene. He has released an already impressive back catalogue of music on some of the biggest labels including Elrow, Viva Music, Suara, Toolroom, Repopulate Mars, Sola, Abode, Stereo Productions and Material. As well as recently touring across the globe in Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Germany and the Czech Republic, his music has been played by some of the most respected DJs such as Jamie Jones, Steve Lawler, Marco Carola, The Martinez Brothers and Seth Troxler. The rapid rate in which Reblok’s career is growing looks set to continue as the world discovers his incredible productions and DJ sets.

Manchester-based producer Mason Maynard is welcomed to Hot Creations to present McLovin’, featuring two tracks of equal magnitude that display his vibrant talent. Mason’s debut release on the formidable label is set for release on 10th April.

On the flip, the spellbinding Remedy features a snaking sub-bass complemented perfectly with the powerful vocals of Ursula Rucker. “In its original form the song featured an old acapella from Ursula, but when we were put in touch with each other we knew we wanted to create something completely fresh.”

Mason Maynard has already built himself an exceptional reputation, with his groove led productions backed by some of biggest names in the business including Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, The Martinez Brothers, Green Velvet, Skream and Seth Troxler. His releases on Repopulate Mars, DFTD, Sola and Relief (where he has collaborated with Green Velvet) have been supported heavily on BBC radio. In 2019 he toured the world, with sets at EDC, Hideout, Creamfields and also across Ibiza during the summer. Praised homecoming gigs took place at Manchester’s Warehouse Project and in front of 15,000 in the Hangar at Parklife Festival. 2020 will see Mason go from strength to strength as he continues to tour the USA and announces his new FANTAZIA label. Working alongside USA electronic music heavyweights Insomniac, FANTAZIA is inspired by early acid and raving culture with a debut release dropping on 6th March.
