Canopy Sounds welcomes the emerging and talented belgian producer, Greg Naïro to our mix series. 

Greg released the his original track "Azaar" on our Various Artist compilation earlier this year which has been supported by many melodic and dreamy DJs around the globe. With so much time spent in the studio in recent years, it is no surprise that the music emerging from his sessions is connecting with audiences far and wide. This year also featured a successful contribution to David Hohme's label, Where The Heart Is, with the hauntingly beautiful "Manaus Voices." This young producer will certainly be making more waves in 2020!

Greg put his heart into this special live studio set featuring all original music as well as some collaborations with Modulo (@modulobelgium) which we are so honored to be able to share with you all.

• • • WHY WE HAVE MADE THE ‘BUSHFIRE AID’ VA SERIES • • •

The bushfires that ravaged our home of Australia between September 2019 - February 2020 are one of the most savage and disastrous natural events that the country has ever known.

Over 25.5 million hectares of land were burnt (110,000+ square kilometres), 3000+ homes destroyed, 30 people and more than 1 billion mammals, birds and reptiles died.

100% of the proceeds from each sale of Bushfire Aid VA Series Part 1 and Part 2 will officially go directly to the Australian Wildlife Conservency’s Bushfire Response Campaign, as they work tirelessly in the field to protect numerous species of animals that are now endangered and threatened due to the bushfire season disaster of 2019/20.

Upon donating, aside from the music you will also receive a pdf file from AWC themselves with specifics on the Bushfire Response Campaign that you will be supporting with your donation.

Bassic Records has banded together 34 of Australia’s best electronic music producers to create the Bushfire Aid VA Series - 27 tracks, across 2 albums, spanning deep melancholic electronica and house, through to dark and emotive progressive techno. Not one of us is unaffected by this disaster, be it directly, emotionally or chord struck within our soul.

Everyone involved in this release has donated their time and skills to this cause. Thanks so much to Amsterdam’s Juliane Wolf for curating our newest guest mix, Institution 033: Juliane Wolf! Some of the InstitutionYWG crew were fortunate to meet this gem of a human at 2019 Amsterdam Dance Event, and we are all so pleased that we have kept in touch.

Juliane is a DJ, producer, and a label owner. She has performed throughout Europe, including France, Malta, Germany, and Netherlands. Her varied productions for labels such as Manual Music, Modern Agenda, Stripped Digital, The Soundgarden, and her own Wizarding Wolf, have been supported by the likes of Sasha, Nick Warren, Anthony Pappa, Lonya, Petar Dundov, Darin Epsilon, Eelke Kleijn, and many more.
