DalerMehndi, the father of Indian Pop also titled "The King Of Bhangra", "The Sultan Of Sound", "Mr.Happy Music" wrote and compose "TunakTunakTun" in 1998,  The song #TunakTunakTun has since then been an Internet Phenomena. Composed in Indian Classical raga "JaiJaiwanti", Daler Mehndi also designed the Rhythm and music. He also Choreographed the Hook Steps of the video and ensured that no other supporting actors/dancers/ models were included in the video. He did this to shut a set of critics who had then written that his songs are a big rage because of the glamorous models in the video. The Music label whom he was signed with then, and had licensed this album to, said that the song wont work like its predecessors cause the video has no women/dancers and that the tempo was too High to DANCE to. Daler choreographed the dance to prove that it will work and Boy! did it work!!!
The song has found fans across cultures, boundaries, languages around the world and continues to entertain all those who have listened to it even once.
