Daley finally gets around to watching Spielberg's aquatic masterpiece and has a roundtable discussion along with Bart and JAWS fanatics Jamie and Jeff Schwartz.  They chat about the best and worst of The Bearded One and draw a line in the sand between Team Hooper and Team Quint.

Daley and Bart team up with Wes Anderson superfan Jared Watterworth chat about The Grand Budapest Hotel and whether or not Anderson is getting too precious for his own good.  Topics also include the passing of character actor James Rebhorn, a potential X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover and whether Ghostbusters 3 can be anything other than a disappointment.

A spoiler-tastic discussion of THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, a stunning exercise in mediocrity and head-scratching silliness that probably peaks in the first 10 minutes.  The gang also considers DC's impending Snyder-verse, tries to muster up some excitement over the Star Wars casting and ponders the merits of a Beverly Hills Cop/Robocop crossover.

13. THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 Swings Straight Into A Brick Wall (Literally)

The gang weighs in on the latest Tom Cruise summer action/sci-fi spectacular, finding a lot to like in the story of a soldier experiencing Groundhog Day-esque time loops in the midst of an alien invasion.  Jamie gets excited at the idea of an action movie where two dudes unexpectedly make out at the end.  Also, Marvel's Ant-Man drama draws to a close, Disney enlists another director to the Star Wars universe, and the crew chats about the merits of the Wachowskis along with the feminist failings of Stripes.

17. Dangling From THE EDGE OF TOMORROW

A straight up posse including Daley, Jamie, Bart, Jeff and Jess tackle another smart and exciting sci-fi yarn in Dawn Of The Planet Of The Apes.  The ladies theorize that Caesar is secretly Harry Potter, the guys revel in the dark camp of the classic films.  They debate the awards worthiness of motion capture performances and whether today's kids can still appreciate a classic like Dumbo.  Nemo the puppy takes a shit in the middle of the recording. 

22. Bow Down Before Your Ape Overlords At The DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES

Tim returns from Cleveland and joins the gang for a look at Marvel's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, easily the most fun you'll have at the movie theater in a fairly glum summer.  The group breaks down the film one delightful character at a time and speculate on the future of Marvel's newest, most endearing franchise.  Jamie reveals her elaborate plan for how they should weave Captain Marvel into the Cinematic Universe.  Everyone lists off movies that deserve a crazy sequel set in outer space.

25. The GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Are Here To Save The Summer

Colin FX Garstka visits the podcast for a screening of the unfortunate-in-every-possible-way reboot of TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES.  The boys marvel at the paint-by-numbers script, the bland characterizations and Megan Fox's complete inability to portray a functioning human being.  They also discuss potential casting choices for an all-female GHOSTBUSTERS and get excited at the prospect of Bill Murray as Baloo the bear in Jon Favreau's adaptation of THE JUNGLE BOOK.

26. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Is Totally Buck-Buck

Daley and Bart wrap up their Epic Rambo Rewatch with the bloody JOHN RAMBO and take stock of the whole shebang.  They also argue about whether Spider-Man's possible entry into the Marvel universe would require yet another reboot, they express cautious optimism over Paul Feig's all female GHOSTBUTERS reboot and they become horrified while revisiting the sitcoms of their youth.  Plus a report from the Somerville Theater's Terrorthon!

34. JOHN RAMBO Is A Small Wonder

Daley and Bart have very different opinions about JOHN WICK and argue whether its brutal onscreen puppy murder is a gutsy move or a bridge too far.  They also parse the first teaser for AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON, get inordinately excited about a fifth TREMORS, and reminisce about Pee Wee Herman and the VHS tapes that were in the heaviest rotation during their respective youths.

36. JOHN WICK And The Dubious Merits Of Puppy Murder

The boys welcome back Jamie and Jenna to talk Birdman and debate whether the pursuit of artistic truth is worth the apparent cost to a performer's emotional stability.  They also chat about Marvel's aggressive Phase 3 slate, superheroes on TV and what the fuck is going on with this new Terminator movie.

37. BIRDMAN Or The Virtue Of Artistic Douchery

Bart takes a week off, so Jamie steps in to take on the Stephen Hawking biopic THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING.  Tragically it appears to be yet another entry in this year's list of prestige pictures featuring strong performances and a lackluster story.  They also tackle the TERMINATOR: GENISYS trailer, the SUICIDE SQUAD cast and Benedict Cumberbatch's official standing as Doctor Strange.

42. THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING Proves A Whole Lot Of Nothing

Daley, Jamie and Jeff delve into one of the most beloved of all the James Bond films, GOLDFINGER, complete with themed cocktails!  While Jamie consistently wants to kick 007 right in his mansplaining dick, the guys try to make sense of the film's place both in the Bond franchise and the larger spy genre as a whole.  Also, at one point Jamie calls the villain Goldmember.

51. GOLDFINGER Is The Best And Worst Of James Bond

Daley and Jeff team up for a special all-JUSTIFIED episode of the podcast.  We break down the phenomenal series finale, look back on our favorite big bads, wax poetic about Elmore Leonard and rank all six seasons before declaring our individual allegiances to Team Boyd or Team Raylan.

Daley, Jamie and Jeff take the Turing Test with Ex Machina.  The trio tackles the emotional, technological and philosophical quandrys posed by Alex Garland's examination of artificial intelligence, personhood and gender roles.  Everybody wants to dance with Oscar Isaac.

Daley, Bart and Jamie revisit Terminator 2 and attempt to decipher the mystery of John Connor's illogical age discrepancy, realizing that the franchise's timeline makes even less sense than previous thought.  They also watch Jurassic World, a movie filled with fun dinosaur action and horribly written characters.  We all fall in love with margarita guy.

60. We Root For The Dinosaurs In JURASSIC WORLD

Jeff submits himself to the torture of Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines, while Daley and Bart discover that the movie may have played better in their memories.  But the group discovers director Jonathan Mostow's incredible songwriting skills and they all agree that the best scene in the movie is the one that was cut from the movie.

61. TERMINATOR 3: Rise Of Dat Funky Man

Daley, Jamie and Jeff dig into the engineering minutiae and emotional thematics of an 11 year old's mind in Pixar's latest masterpiece Inside Out, with a brief diversion while Daley tries to figure out why the movies of Paul Feig don't appeal to him as much as they should.

Daley and Bart roll sans guest this week and dive deep into Warren Beatty's 1990 stylized comic adaptation Dick Tracy.  The guys get lost in a cavalcade of familiar faces, most of which are obscured behind a variety of latex proesthetics.  They weigh the improvisational lunacy of Al Pacino against the negative sexual chemistry of Warren Beatty and Madonna, plus they consider the age old question, "What if we remade this movie, but with Muppets?"
