When I was longing to "spread love" to every person on Earth, this solo piano piece was born. It comes from the sweetest, most innocent part of my soul, where judgement or reason doesn't exist.  It's a one take recorded in a church, on an old Steinway, with clunky equipment and no edits. Creating music has always been my refuge. I hope you can feel the comfort, warmth, and light this piece is intended to give.

Forward was inspired by motion towards a new land and adventure. Composed after a summertime visit to Valencia, Spain, the piece reflects the spirit of unpredictable passion and dreams for new possibilities ahead.

Improv on Chopin Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2

Initially placing you in a calm, suspended state and expands into a relentless, yet blissful, wave of sound. It sweeps you along with it, allowing you to relinquish anything that may be holding you back and give into the music. When you finally submerge yourself in the song, it softly declines, placing you back into reality with a new groundedness and center.

I ran to my piano and had to make an uplifting song after a "prominent" psychologist at my workplace yelled at me with pessimism about the world we live in today. 

Hope was born with the intention to rise above negativity and instill light in the heart.

I sat at the piano to tell this story about a misunderstanding filled with turbulence and very dramatic dynamic range. The solo piano piece is energetic and forgiving. It is hopeful and full of despair. I created "This Isn't Goodbye," with the intention of making peace and establishing a common ground of acceptance.  Regardless of how we conduct our daily lives, there is hopeful space for us still love and appreciate differences rather than saying goodbye to the relationship.

"Finding My Way," is an instrumental piano piece with violin and a vocal intro setting an intention through my simple, grounding lyrics, "Don't Lose Sight of Who You Are." The title and original album art reflects the ups and downs of a journey searching for inner strength, peace and relief. Perfect to listen to as a soothing remedy for stress relief to achieve a peaceful state of mind.

You know, the outside world is eager to tell you how wrong you are to sell you something, but the truth is we have everything in our heart. Making this piece helped me realize this truth- allowing me to get still, breathe deeper, and feel The Gift in my heart.
