The Taran Show! (outro theme song)

A song I worked on with @bensingermusic. It is actually my first song ever! (can you tell? haha) We made probably 100 versions over 3 years. Finally decided we were being too precious about it, having made many more songs since, and so figured I would strip it down to essentials, back to piano where it started, and release it. The second song from those same early sessions is "Pennsylvania Skies" ( https://soundcloud.com/dalihi/pennsylvania-skies )

It seems so familiar but I searched and searched and I can't find the original if it indeed ever existed outside of myself. I used Shazam and whistled it, nothing.  Why doesn't anyone have a good song search engine? Probably it exists in a big law firm somewhere. Share it you greedy lawyers!!

There are some things I should fix, but this song is dangerous: touch it a little and you are sucked in, a weekend is gone, and the song is worse after all that!

@bensingermusic and I sent this to him unfinished a month ago, we couldn't finish it within a week of his birthday. Then we asked if he wanted to play on it. He generously sent three blistering solos! We could only pick one! That was the hardest part :)

Pax Romana was 200 years of peace in the world near the end of the Roman empire. The Latin chorus is asking for a similar peace today, but one that lasts forever. Probably I used it incorrectly. The Romans would probably laugh at me, not cry, if they heard this. Overreach is a mandate, for the obscure artist.
