Home is a song I wrote after returning from a life in the city and headed back to the quiet coastal home town where I grew up as a teenager. As I arrived there I went to a secluded beach, a special place where I would often spend time, just myself and a surfboard, there was nobody else around. As I got out of the water the wind was blowing towards me as if blowing right through me, there were dolphins and whales out to sea, and an eagle flew over me casting a shadow. I took a deep breath and took in the present moment, I felt like I was finally home.
