Since 2010 Aurora Innovations and Roots Organic sponsored many music
mixtape but with ‘Food For Though’ it’s for the first time they collaborate on
the productions of original tracks with the California-based label Sugar Cane
Records.

All the songs are originally produced for this project and they talk about
cultivation and healthy lifestyle, like the title track ‘Food For Though’ from Jah
Sun and I- Kronik.

The Californian singer and owner of Sugar Cane Label Jah Sun, gives his
contribution with the songs ’Farmer’s Anthem’ and ‘Pro Seed’.

From the Sugar Cane we find also Raphael from Italy with ‘Joka Farm Boy’, a
song against pesticides in agricultural products in favor of biodynamic and
organic cultivation with the Jamaican veteran artist Triston Palma, David
Lion from Italy with ‘Organic Herb’ and Bobby Hustle from Seattle with ‘Up In
the Hills’.

The compilation ‘Food For Thought’ features also jamaican artists that live in
the West Coast as Messenjah Selah (‘Conscious Way’) and Stevie Culture
with Jah Works (‘Can’t live Without’).

Then we find Ras Attitude from Virgin Island with ‘Healing Herb’, the veteran
sensation from Brooklyn Rocker T with ‘Roots Organic’ and Don Sugar with
the original dub version ‘Dub For Though’.

All the songs are produced by Don Sugar and mixed by Daddario Casillo.

The Outernational Riddim selection is, quite possibly, Oneness Records’ most diverse compilation to date, artistically and sonically. Living up to its name in a major way, 11 vocalists from 7 different countries teamed up with Oneness Records, a Munich-based label, on this truly ‘outernational’ project. Artists featured on the selection are Stonebwoy from Ghana, Kabaka Pyramid from Jamaica, Fyahbwoy from Spain, Cidade Verde Sounds from Brazil, Ras Muhamad from Indonesia, YT from the United Kingdom and Soliaon from France. The uptempo one drop riddim was first heard on a single by Ras Muhamad and Kabaka Pyramid titled, ‘Re-education,’ before it evolved into the international collaboration - combining multiple languages, styles and sounds - that it is now. The Outernational Riddim selection is a stellar overview of the modern global Reggae scene, by established and emerging artists from 4 continents.

Christopher - born  and raised in Kingston Jamaica is a highly ambitious young artist in the making with a plentiful portfolio; he has worked alongside some top producers throughout his career and he aims to uplift all lovers of reggae music with his true to life conscious lyrics which demonstrates a combination of his life and others in Jamaica. With such clear clean and beautifully pleasing music to the earshot of the masses there is more to Damas than we know - In his own words, ''THERE ARE NO LIMITS'' to what Damas can do.
