The centennial podcast of this series is brought to us by Morah. At some point in his career, the dark prince of Athens and resident of the Phormix label and event series achieved a unique and iconic status with his unconventional take on gritty electronic music that transcends genres. The first time we experienced this in the flesh was in the old Griessmuehle location on the Sonnenallee in 2019 and were blown away.

Whether it was his debut release on Helena Hauff's label, or the many life-changing performances over the years that are well-documented, his body of work speaks for itself as he graces labels such as Berceuse Heroique, Vanila, Brokntoys, Lux Rec, and most recently on Body Musick as well as a self-released album called Zesta. He's captained the Phormix event series as a resident and is a core part of the Athens crew whose label boasts some of the most exciting releases coming out. He's added another time-lasting performance to his list during the most recent DT Camp two weeks ago. It should be no surprise that we invited him as a special guest for our ADE event together with Pinkman Records on October 19th and can't wait 

These are trying times for all with many significant global events taking place almost daily. With this as the backdrop, we hope this series has brought some enjoyment. Thank you very much to the artists that have contributed to the series over the last two years and to the listeners for tuning in every week. We look forward to seeing all of you on the dance floor. Releasing selectively on well respected underground labels such as Bordello A Parigi, Throne of Blood, Ombra INTL. Relish, Curses also runs a Rinse France monthly radio residency showcasing artists who share a love for mixing wave and weird disco. Curses finally dropped a long awaited debut full length on Dischi Autunno in 2018.

For the 31st edition we welcome E-bony aka @naor-dayan to our mix series, an up-and-coming DJ and producer from Tel Aviv’s underground, holding residencies at the infamous Alphabet Club and of the international well-known queer nights & label ‘PAG’, in addition to having releases on infamous labels such as Slow Motion, Wrong Era, Italo Moderni, Dalmata Daniel to name a few.

Naor, born and raised in one of Tel-Aviv’s somewhat challenging areas, got him fleeing to the city’s center at an early age, where he was exposed to Tel-Aviv’s electronic music scene, since this point E-bony has been developing unarguable taste and skill for music, in his productions and behind the decks you can hear a combination of Techno, Electro and Italo with a smooth movement between darkness, lights and groove.
