Sidney Charles & Santé have teamed up again to forge the 'Forever EP’ on Hot Creations with Russ Yallop on remix duty. Those that have witnessed their epic sets playing together will know the vibrant energy they create and this latest offering stands stead to them.

The title track ‘Forever’ uses dynamic claps, an indelible beat and a simple but effective vocal that ties all the elements together. With a playful production technique at its heart, this is a cut made for summertime. Things get a little darker with ‘Mogli’, morphing high-pitched, glitchy sounds alongside a hissing beat. On the flip side, Russ Yallop remixes ‘Forever’ to make the whole track bounce with a heavy and thick bassline.

Hamburg-born Sidney Charles has only been releasing music for four years but has already had a string of successes on labels such as 8bit, Moda Black, AVOTRE and VIVa. Berlin-based Santé is also involved with all areas of music as he DJ’s, produces, and is building on his own record label AVOTRE. Sidney Charles & Santé have previously released on Hot Creations with ‘All Night Long’ on the ‘Hot Summer Jams’ album.

Russ Yallop is a key member of the underground house scene and  is no stranger to Hot Creations; he has previously released ‘Traffic’ and ‘System Crank’ with them, whist also regularly DJing at their worldwide events. He is also an established member of the Crosstown Rebels family after first releasing with them in 2010.

Solid Grooves has built a strong following of loyal fans over the years. Starting out as an event series, the London based brand has since achieved global success including a prevalent Ibiza residency last year. Launching as a label in 2015, it wasn’t long before Solid Grooves Records topped Beatport’s overall charts with Wade’s remix of Dennis Cruz ‘See Line’ and cemented its reputation as an infallible imprint, releasing music from names such as Kuo Climax, ONNO, David Pher and Brett Gould.

Dennis Cruz leads the way with ‘Fake’, a vocal focused track with throbbing bass, chopped up samples and infectious percussive components before Franz Costa’s ‘Kate’ blends a medley of intricate rhythmic elements for a trippy low-slung production.

The label co-founders are up next, with Michael Bibi unleashing a roaring low-end in ‘Devil’s Candy’ whilst a spoken word sample operates through, making way for PAWSA’s ‘Taking Over’ – an atmospheric house track geared for powerful subs featuring dub inspired stabs and sharp hats. Reelow then concludes the package, demonstrating his signature style with a cacophony of percussion and mesmerizing effects.

Hot Creations gear up to drop the eagerly anticipated House & Pressure from hot property Route 94. Echoing the excitement that surrounded his No.1 hit My Love, which shot him to stardom, the record has been in serious demand for months. Now finally ready for release he showcases his versatile skills as a producer over three heavy-weight tracks.

Rowan Jones aka Route 94 explains how he wanted to “put out three tracks that were diverse yet definitive.” Title track House & Pressure packs a real punch and contains the vocals from Joey Negro's classic Ride the Storm featuring Linda Clifford. The dominant female vocal on ‘House & Pressure’ combined with the force of the drum machines is a traditional element that people connect to the Route 94 productions. With ‘Crazy Bitch’ it’s a more of a big room sound, incorporating ghetto elements. ‘Dark Keyless’ is the complete opposite, creating a groove that aims to grab the crowd and let them loose.

This year has seen a succession of big releases and remixes from Route 94 that cement his place amongst the dance music elite including the recent hit Mind, Body & Soul on Crosstown Rebels. The talented producer first saw fame reaching No.1 in the UK charts with My Love featuring Jess Glynne. Keen to remain on the underground scene, he followed with releases and remixes on Leftroom, Defected and Hot Creations. Overwhelming success followed as he performed at the likes of fabric, Sub Club, Space, Ushuaia, DC10 and many more. It’s almost Christmas time and here, at elrow Music, we want to start the celebration with a big comeback to our releases ranks. Label boss and tech-house honcho De La Swing is back with a three tracker EP of two originals and one high rolling remix, by the one and only Mathias Kaden. ‘Everyday EP’ opens up with the title track, ‘Everyday (Original Mix)’, a track with a steady but soft percussion, a hip-hopish vocal line that sings about love, and a nice 90’s infused melody by the middle of the track, with an overall vibe that everyone associates with elrow and its parties. Then we have ‘Creeper (Original Mix)’, that opens with a swifter percussion and starts in full energy thanks to that exotic vocal line we hear in the back of the track. With FX coming and going, the synth treatment De La Swing uses is just mind-blowing and will make the crowd lose it in the middle of the dancefloor, making this carnivalesque track perfect for the busiest times in the dancefloor. Finally, closing the EP, we have Mathias Kaden’s remix of De La Swing’s ‘Everyday (Mathias Kaden’s Repitch Remix)’, in which the German producer twist the original track with a steadier and faster vibe, a bit harder, also distorting and playing with the vocal line and keeping the melodies, making it a more playful tune and fitter for peak times in the floor. Resuming, one huge delivery by the label boss De La Swing, that showcases his great moment, and an amazing re-interpretation by Kaden, who has perfectly understood what elrow Music’s line is all about. Nic Fanciulli's first appearance on Rejected came back in 2009, when he took over "Room 3" of the labels famous Dusty House. This was followed by last years "Together", his co-production with label boss Joris Voorn and today he returns to Dutch shores again with his latest brace, "Movin' On" and "Round & Round."

With "Movin' On" featuring in his brand new and ready to roll 'Balance' compilation, our timing couldn't be better. Perfect for the summer floors, it rolls heavy with Fanciulli's trademark drive and funk. Breaking out the harmonica and letting the divas holla, he drops the bass in the synth-lead breaks before slamming it back for, dare we say it, those real hands in the air moments. The terraces eagerly await.

Pulling no punches on the flip, we have "Round & Round." In typical heads down fashion and with a dizzying display of hats and snare, Nic turns in a floor burning tool that could easily demand its very own room in Rejected's dusty abode. Two strong cuts from one of the most consistent producers of today.
