Following on from 2018’s critically acclaimed Heart Of Sky album and its spellbinding live project, Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons bring together all of the album’s remixes and a handful of new exclusives. ‘Heart Of Sky (The Remixes)’ is released on Crosstown Rebels with a serious list of remixer contributions. 

The remix collection for the debut album (‘Remixes From The Other Side’) set a high benchmark. With The Heart Of Sky (Remixes) Lazarus has managed to do it again, bringing together a veritable who’s who of the electronic music community. Black Coffee sits alongside Mad Professor, Luciano next to Serge Devant, and Jamie Jones with Patrice Baumel, amongst many others. The collection also features exclusive and unreleased remixes from Emanuel Satie, La Fleur and Magit Cacoon.

After their previous release with a new version of the famous track from the 80's ¨Electric Avenue¨ recorded by Tone Of Arc, Bar 25 Music is proud to present the remix EP. A cover by the author of a famous “Goodbye Horses” got a new life, thanks to two brilliant remixes. First one is a rework by our frequent contributor, the versatile musician and style-icon — Niconé.

Another one was crafted beautifully by SIS — producer who was released on Ricardo Villalobos’ label and named Producer of the Year Germany's Groove Magazine in 2008. SIS is considered the pioneer of the Burning Man sounds, continues his quest to entertain global dancefloors with his unique live shows and hedonistic DJ sets. He is playing actively in Playa Del Carmen and Tulum including for Circoloco and he continues growing his musical discography.

As February 29th only comes around every four years, we thought it befitting of this latest fleeting appearance to celebrate with yet another fine release from our burgeoning Selador stable. Be rude not to, right?

And what better way than with the label debut of Mr Tom Peters. German born, Berlin based, Tom has already released music through such esteemed channels as German heavyweight labels, Kompakt & Get Physical and so naturally, we’re very pleased he’s decided to add Selador to his already impressive résumé.

Featuring two very different but equally strong original productions, the tribal tech of ‘Two Of Us’ with it’s wonky synth surges and sensuous vocal inflections to the more forceful peak time techno flavourings of ‘Restless’. It really is a double header not to be missed. 

On remixing assignments, rising German star, Tim Engelhardt sprinkles his own magic dust over ‘Two Of Us’ whilst Mexican duo Climbers step up to the plate with a stonking interpretation of ‘Restless’. Basically, it’s a win win situation. Just the way we like it. 

So.. Happy Leap Day everyone. Don’t say we didn’t spoil you ;-)
