In the last period I worked a lot on things written some time ago, so I had not composed anything new for a few months and, as always happens in these cases, I was a little afraid of having run out of creative vein. That's why, with this new piece, I'm happy and ready for the next time when I'm definitely going to ask myself, once again, "oh my god, is this over?" :)

It's almost dawn - with Rosin Dust

This is an afrobeat song that I came up with based on a beat I boosted from BandLab. They have all kinds of great beasts on there, btw. Anyway, I sent it halfway around the world to my friend Mikey McFaffington in Australia. he proceeded to summon his magical saxophone throughout the song, bringing it to life. We both had a lot of fun making this one, and appreciate you taking the time to read this. I'm playing bass, guitar, electric piano, and synth horns on this one.

While my music mostly stays in the vein of Americana, I love all styles of music. I should also mention that I have found the BEST producer / instrumentalist in Robert Ruby. He took simple cowboy chord songs and turned them into what you hear.
