I started my musical journey as a DJ in the Australian & UK
dance scene back in the early 90s, playing at underground
parties and clubs in Melbourne & London. After a seven-year
hiatus, playing only private gigs, I started to compose and
produce original electronic music in 2007. But, it wasn’t until
2015 that I began to take music production seriously and
make it my main creative focus.
Since then I’ve been developing my knowledge in electronic
music production and composing original material. These
days, I mainly enjoy mixing deep beats and some of my
favourite labels include: Get Physical Music, Systematic
Colours, Dirty Bird, Canopy Sounds, Solid Grooves Records,
Strictly Rhythm, Shanty Radio Moscow, Permanent Vacation
and Kittball.

Selector of the deepest cuts of melodic techno - emotive and always soul touching" That’s how MBryan describes himself as a DJ. Never afraid to go too deep, his emotive musical selections are his own therapy. Having grown up on his father’s eclectic combination of funk music, European electronica and synth-infused 80s music, all which became infused with his own love for both hip-hop and video game music. MBryan ended up with quite a mixed spectrum of musical influence. Today, this translates into sets where he picks apart and infuses together all the pieces of this music that he loves best, beautiful synth work, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, and occasional vocal hooks. All on top of a pronounced foot-shuffling melodic house beat. A very active member of his local community, MBryan is no stranger to the ups-and-downs of a small-town music scene. Though he loves playing in nightclubs, patios and special events, his love for music goes beyond the spectrum of mixing tunes. As a producer and promoter, he has found plenty of ways to express himself musically.

Duboko Deep @musicwithsoul is passionate collector & DJ coming out of Zagreb (Croatia). His love to music started in early age. His mother and father collector’s of chanson francaise,jazz music,canzoni italiane,Sinatra,Dean Martin, soundtrack’s etc. His passion for music begins with vinyl records of disco, italo, hi-energy, Canadian disco, synth-infused, 80s music, soul …He got involved in the electronic music & house in late 80s, shortly after club music took over him. From the very beginnings Deep house was sound to which he remained most faithful, simply because it was love at the first listen! And so it continues… His musical selection is best described as pure, deep, melodic vibes which takes you “Duboko” (“Deep” in Croatian)! Trough his sets you can feel eclectic beautiful synth works, ethereal backdrops, brooding basslines, oriental sounds, and occasional vocal hooks. His music styles are open minded. He practises emotional tunes, and it does not matter whether are new or old. It is important that they raise his emotional moment which can reach out to listeners through his selections. And so it has for years, through various clubs, lounge bars, on different kinds of events like museums, beaches giving out smiles and satisfaction to his listeners. His passion for music is to explore and mix so Deep musical languages.

With a love of house and techno, and an exposure to a variety of electronic music, Mötas likes to forge funky fresh house sounds with minimal beats and a techno touch. He’s featured amongst some of the best from the underground scene at festivals & gigs such as Freerotation, Heal and Natural Selections. Listening to DJ sets in the dome at Freerotation inspired him to get on the decks, and he's quickly developing his own style. Mötas is now producing deep cuts, balanced out with feel good flavour. Some of which we will be hearing in 2023. His event ‘Ymuno’ brings together the sounds he loves most on a dance floor, and his crew have created a new fresh vibe, that's quickly gaining momentum.

@somerleds is a selector and DJ hailing from Wellington, New Zealand.

He first got turned on to electronic music in the very early 1990s when passed a UK
hardcore cassette in the halls of Wellington College. He then immersed himself in all things
electronic seeking out warehouse raves and outdoor festivals where futuristic soundscapes
from Goa trance to German techno were unleashed upon the ravers.

Somerled's influences have evolved from these early days to now include anything on the
spectrum of electronica from acid house to progressive trance to drum and bass. With many
up and coming producers re-framing the original sounds of the 90s with vastly improved
production tools and techniques, Somerled is now inspired to go back to his roots and mix
tracks close to his heart.

In this specially curated set for the Xpress Yourself series, Somerled takes the listener on a
journey from break-beat beginnings with soulful vocals through acid house and then leads
you deep into the jungle.

Please warm welcome me newest guest and great artist from New Zealand @interior-heaven. 
 I first practised piano lessons on a Roland Juno 106 that my parents brought for me when I was 11yrs old as a Piano was too big for the house we were livining, from there I loved messing around with the patches and transforming them into new sounds, my father had the Man Machine album by Kraftwerk which I thought was futuristic music back at an early age.
I grew up listening to more and more Electronic music through my teens and into my 20's where I then discovered House music in bars and clubs. My love for dance music grew from those nights going out and talking to the DJ's about what tracks they were playing, no Shazam back then!
I got into producing my own music circa 1999 and and have carried on making music throughout my latter years to provide a creative outlet.
The mix I made kind reminds me of going back in time to the mid 2000s' where prog house was huge in New Zealand, the set reminds of being in a dark smokey club with people all on the same vibe, 2am - not a care in the world.

Please welcome my two great friends from France Matt & Mervyn a.k.a. @Missfeat.
Missfeat (M&me) share a liking for electronic music since they were teenagers in the early 90's, one of them (Matt) under the funk hip hop influence and the other one (Mervyn) being rather pop electro. Their common taste for house and techno lead them to the creation of the Missfeat group !

After a very notable start in the South-West area of France they play alongside with renowned artists such as Jack de Marseille, Neil Landstrumm, Torgull, Ryckk's, Paco Osuna, Stephanovitch...

In 2003, together with their friends Louis de Bourbon and Zentrax, they create the Electronikcircus collective and the Audiomatik evenings at which they share the stage with Sascha Funke, Robert Babicz, Chloé, Bloody Mary...

Then they participate in several PCB evenings including Izhevski, Argenis Brito, Marc Antona, Re-Up, Francesco Allende, Marcelo Rosselot, Vera, Cezar, Maayan Nidam, ... and is the first part of Miguel Campbell.

In love with melodies from all over the world, Missfeat plays a multi-cultural Deep House / Downtempo music.

John Evexc was born in Germany in 1981. Already in his late childhood he was an enthusiastic listener of electronic music. His passion for playing electronic music began in 2001 with a friend and today's DJ colleagues. In 2015 he founded his project Sonne, Strand und Meer to give more attention to the music he loves and lives. Snyze was born in the east of Germany. 2019 she joined the podcast channel Sonne, Strand und Meer where she now works as DJ and Project Manager. Since 2020 they have been working together on the project and stand together on the decks.

Im very happy to present my new guest and friend from Spain @dj-aormos.
AorMos began as a DJ when he was 15 years of age and enjoyed playing electronic music more than two decades. In the beginning he was playing with the nearest sounds to the scene of House, to give a jump to Minimal at the end of 2000. And that year he got interested all the slopes of Techno, from its purer roots, spinning the more melodic vibes, deep sounds, and progressive aspects and looking always at producers and record labels that offer great quality in their productions.
In his DJ sets AorMos likes to realize the very supported and elegant mixtures of the tracks, and that the whole set has going and return of emotions, and that the energy does not decline in the session. And this way to be able to transmit a good trip of emotions.

Special anniversary 50th episode with a very special guest @bilboni.
Bilboni is an artistic nickname for Slovene musician Goran Bilbija. His early starts in the field were marked by attending and concluding a music school, where he learnt to play the accordion. As a teenager, his passion for music accelerated to the point where he would spend all his monthly pocket money on borrowing/buying new records. Growing up, he started tasting the club life. Drawn by the electronic sounds, he would always be the last to go home, waiting to get DJs' latest tracks on plates. As a professional sportsman (handball), Goran had to give up on his music dreams for a while, yet he never completely stopped his production. At the age of 20, he established a successful music duo 2 Alive and signed quite a few contracts with various record labels. After years of music production, Goran finally decided to dedicate his time fully to music, issuing his very own tracks. Inspired by world famous DJs, such as Marco Carola, Richie Hawtin, Joseph Capriati, Luciano, Julian Jeweil and others, he sees himself most in techno and tech house vibes. Being fully committed to his fans, he is always open for new suggestions and critique. Convinced that self-awareness is the key to delivering quality, you can certainly expect no less than a technical perfection of mesmerizing beats.

Rich Vom Dorf, a strange foreign artist name, isnt it? But its meaning is easily explained when you know that the guy behind the project is called Richard and "vom Dorf" means "from the village" in german language.

Born in the eighties on the countryside he discovered electronic music in the early nineties and what had begun as a passion led into a full time job as dj, promoter, producer and owner of the label "tächno". The style of his productions and sets varys from deep emotional melodic progressive house, happy techhouse and even indie dance. This maybe is a wide range of sound but all this music has one thing in common - its made to please your heart.
