A sentimental oddity.  "Write a song about Bolton?  Easy", I said.  "It's got to be positive", said Colin.  "Oh", I said.  Fortunately, the sound quality is bad enough to obscure the lyrics for the most part.

I was asked to set a Spanish poem to music by the Bolton International Writing Project, so I went for a Getz/Gilberto pastiche bossa nova thing.  Original words courtesy of Belen Laserna's poem, "Un Instante"

Senti el sol, senti la calma,
senti la paz que tanto ansiaba.
Un recuerdo lejano, tal vez cercano,
pero un recuerdo al fin y al cabo.
Algo se abró, se cerró,
y en ese instante todo cuadró. 
Ahora vuelve a buscar, vuelve a intentar,
y no te preocupes por lo que siempre está.
Ese instante no volverá,
ya otro nuevo se creará.
