Alien Communications is a UK-based DJ, a record label and event series, deeply rooted in 90s rave culture while pushing the boundaries of contemporary electronic music.
Born from a love of early rave aesthetics, sci-fi culture, and deep club sonics, the sound fuses elements of electro, techno, and breakbeat, always with a futuristic twist and an ear for atmosphere.

Since launching in 2019, the project cultivated a unique space within the underground, releasing music from like-minded artists such as: Koloah, Modus, Polytunnel, Ste Roberts, and Domenic Cappello. While hosting immersive events across the UK with a diverse lineup of artists, including Move D, DJ Masda, Sansibar, Juan Atkins, Dopplereffekt, DMX Krew, and many more...

As a DJ, AC and have been playing at some of the most respectable clubs around Europe and the US, from Sub Club, Kaiku, Cabaret Voltaire, Elsewhere, The Cause and Village Underground to some of the leading festivals around: Transmissions, Dimensions, Terminal V, Gottwood Festival, and of course The Big Bang Festival - inner-city music festival curated by Alien Communications.

Introducing my next guest Dave Mack @thereturn. A wildly versatile selector with an amazing ear for simply great music. Our paths crossed at the Revolver dinner set slot and quickly became good friends and regularly we would do b2b's at Galah, Mango Bar and Rumbler to name a few. Both of us feel comfortable intertwining our collections into our collaborations. He is also a member of the incredible Marina Boys outfit and all I can say is that i'm a huge fan of their output and enthusiasm. Dave has also done some shows on the local Skylab radio and is very busy on the DJ circuit. Enjoy this deep house mix from him and I think he ticked the brief beautifully and I'm really enjoying his foray into the deeper and chilled side of house and techno.

ADS IV is a fascinating selection, effortlessly mixed by Berlin based Antony Cacharron who's the creative behind boutique label Ausblick.  It's always a pleasure to hear some diversity in Dub Techno moods and grooves and those in abundance with this set.  My caps doffed to Anthony who will also be appearing on the MLD Goes Live festival program in August.
