The comparison also derives from the idea that they both require a facilitator; people “want it ordered, and they want a middle-man,” Weatherall said. Don’t Throw Stones is a celebration of the middle-women and middle-men of nightlife: the DJs. Contributors to this mix series are located far and wide, from Bristol to Berlin, and each will distinctively capture their own take on the euphoria that is synonymous with clubgoing.

Bash man is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer. Widely regarded as a master of the turntables, he has a record collection spanning various genres, mainly focusing on the harder essence of House and Techno. 

Bash is a Resident of both RUSH in Glasgow at the Berkely suite alongside Mi$$ Co$mix and the weekly Resist parties at the Mash House in Edinburgh. A truly committed selector who shows no signs of slowing down. 

Bash man has a 12" forthcoming on Leftfield House and Techno Imprint Non Stop Rhythm. The release will see a compilation of tracks from his previous 2 EPs on the same label, finally getting the chance to be pressed onto wax.

At 15, Hari Nayla traded his drum kit for turntables and started collecting records. He embarked on a journey of discovering various genres and eras. Alongside this exploration, Nayla mastered the art of creating hip hop beats and dusty edits, establishing his own artistic style. Currently, Nayla's music direction revolves around capturing the power of intergalactic sounds. He delves into the realms of prog house, electro, and the soul-stirring echoes of 90s House, uncovering hidden treasures that ignite dancefloors. Over the last couple of years, Nayla has quickly built up an impressive portfolio. He has featured on the line-ups of some of Europes most popular music festivals: Meadows In The Mountains, Secret Garden Party, Boomtown, and Shambala. He has begun to take his sounds across the seas, to countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Bulgaria and Portugal.
