BIO

Josh Cheon grew up in northern New Jersey, just outside New York City where he spent his weekends dancing at goth clubs and digging for records. He moved to San Francisco in 2006 and joined gay DJ collective Honey Soundsystem from 2007 to 2017. His love of underground ‘80s music pushed him to start Dark Entries in 2009, a record label specializing in reissuing lost music from that era as well as contemporary bands referencing those analog sounds.

This episode really has some of the finest house music around at the minute, the legendary pair of GU & boo Williams again come up with the master plan and turn out a double 12 album of that kinda music that commands you to get down! Manchester's very own Mr Steve Conry is right up there too with those 2 guys, his Ten Lovers Music label also providing the goods.  Speaking of house, in this case tech house the sounds of Envelope has carried on throughout the years entertaining crowds on the floors, respect to Scot Lang & Ted Graham know wassup!

  Breakbeats a plenty too for all the beat freaks, Anil's Futhur Electronix label has to be one of the best and most featured imprints around on this show but rightly so.  Hi impeccable A&R skills always ensure the quality never wains!  Keplrr being a new artist on me but i wouldn't be surprised if they don't turn up on FE, watch this space LOL.  James Baker aka ReKaB who is no stranger to the show finally hits the wax (Its been a long time in coming, now its happening!)Italy's Where We Met showcasing his 'Bending time n space' kinda vibe perfectly.

Electro man dem we got ya, a plethora of choice cuts included in this episode, Sound Synthesis, the Electro music Union from waaaaaay back a time and the mighty Celestial Circuits providing the atmospherics and an acid/electro hybrid kinda sound from Deepemphasis.
