FRANCOIS DILLINGER [Ben Worden], glides between the two worlds of electro and techno. Hot off a live set at Detroit’s Movement Festival—his journey through the genres is dark while retaining a mercilessly intelligent, dancefloor-ori- ented quality. His Live & DJ sets lean heavily into the generation of hypnotic loops, creating long protracted mixes between elements of unshakeable tension. As a former promoter, long-time performer, and supporter of the scene – he’s been a part of the Detroit underground for over 20 years.

Over the last two years, DILLINGER has released three albums across Diffuse Reality, Specimen Records, and International Chrome. He was featured on several compilations, most notably on Planet E’s Detroit Love series, while over 30 artists remixed his tracks including the likes of Keith ‘K1’ Tucker, Detroit’s Filthiest, Jensen Interceptor, Luxus Varta and others. DILLINGER also hosts MINDFRAME, a monthly residency on Detroit’s Deep Space Radio that features guest performances from across the global electro scene. Support for his music continues from the likes of Dave Clarke and Richie Hawtin; with his latest LP named as Best New Electronic Music by Bandcamp.

FRANCOIS also continues his work with Detroit-based art collaboratives Missing Faces and 313-030, creating immersive A/V installations with shows planned across Detroit and Berlin in the coming year.

Not content to be labeled as merely a DJ, a producer, or even a DJ/Producer, Melvin Oliphant III aka Traxx is a lover of music - one with a passion so intense that it overcomes genre divides to weave an altogether original, exciting, and multi-textured musical fabric which envelops both the avid clubber and the home listener, as well as everyone in between.

In 2007 Traxx founded Nation as a platform for the Jakbeat sound. He also released on numerous labels such as Relief, M/O/S, Gigolo, Muzique, Crème Organization, Antenna and Crème-Jak, under different monikers such as XXart, Saturn V, X2, The Green Goblin and Dirty Criminals. He collaborated with James T. Cotton, DJ Hell, Green Velvet, Hieroglyphic Being, DeeCoy and Legowelt to shape his unique definition of Jakbeat.

Born and raised in Vienna, a place haunted by the spectres of past imperial glory as much as the iron curtain's looming presence, DJ Glow became a pivotal figure in the city's booming techno scene during the early 90s, alongside artists like Patrick Pulsinger, Dan Lodig, Ratio, and Ilsa Gold. With the arrival of electro's second wave he started TRUST in 1998, a label for futuristic bass music and dystopian electro, inspired in equal parts by science fiction and crises of modern culture and technology. Over the years TRUST has put forth a string of unique releases by artists like DJ Stingray, Urban Tribe, Microthol, Clatterbox, Lok44, The Exaltics, VC-118A, and many more that have been instrumental in defining the experimental edges of electro music and paving the way for the style's current comeback. 

As a DJ and producer, Glow remains committed to both bass music's cutting edges as well as its decades-old heritage along the axis of Vienna, Detroit, and Berlin, which has become his second home in the late 2000s. He continues to be one of the resident DJs of La Boum Deluxe, Austria's popular Friday night show for underground electronic music on national radio station FM4. His latest EP introduced his new Populist alias as part of the current TRUST XX series, which celebrates the label's 20th anniversary. Other releases in the series have so far come from Versalife, DJ Di'jital, /DL/MS/, and Microthol, and the end of May will see the release of a mini-album, 'Colder', by French electro producer Luxus Varta.
