Part 3 of 8. A mix I've done of the Music from the G bar Liverpool 98-2000 Dj Jimmy Jay era.

Trance was definitely at its peak 98-2000 in terms of it's dynamics and emotional impact I think, also every clubber in Europe was digging it . Their was many flavours and styles in the big room clubs like cream and gatecrasher but their was something about this small time dj called " JIMMY JAY " that played in a back street place known as G bar. It was a hidden jewel that not many new of or dared if straight to go in ! once you did however you where hooked for life. Jimmy had a gift for searching out the mixes and remixes of that time with the biggest emotional impact along with power and punchiness. You just didn't seem to hear these tunes in the Big rooms. Obviously the odd track was dropped by the bigger dj's at bigger events but it just seemed to me anyway that most these tracks where exclusive to Jimmy and G bar. ENJOY !

Well that time is definitely now as last week was actually the 20th anniversary of the "Kevin & Perry Go Large" film premiere! 

 Yes 20 years!! 2 decades ago the lads went on their insane holiday to Ibiza! 

 I was lucky enough to be fully involved with the making of the film and pieced together the now iconic soundtrack for the movie. 

 Who would have thought back then that Kevin & Perry would go on to create such an incredible cult following all over the world.

 I know thousands of you are looking forward to the historic Kevin & Perry 20th Birthday show over at Amnesia Ibiza. We are still confident that the event will take place in September and I know the team at One More Time Ibiza are doing everything to make it happen. 

 But for now, what better way to do a live stream than to bring you a classic set of Kevin and Perry tunes into your living rooms! 

 Get your bucket hats on, your trackie tops on back to front and your best old school Amnesia dance moves at the ready!

Previously played as one half of duo 'Taz & Damo' for all major Hard Dance nights in UK including Frantic, Storm, Insomniacz, Sundissential, Tidy Weekenders, Atomik Weekenders, Tidy Ibiza and played regularly for Goodgreef. other regular gigs include Parlez vous, Housewives Choice, Sinergy, Shine, Summit, The Howard, and MANY more special events like Hard Dance Awards and Kiddstock!
