All tones recorded through a chain of hardware effects (No Software) NOS 70's valves, old BBC transformers, 90's PCM Lexicon, Eventide DSP4000 and at the end of the chain is a Roland Sampler DAC for authentic 90s tone.

The Demo track is just the wavs in a sampler with no FX apart from low and high cut filters on a couple of tracks.

Veteran tech-stepper Trace returns to CNVX, this time teaming up with Kid Drama and Berlin based Survey, delivering 4 chunky chuggers doused in 90’s nostalgia in the Raise EP. 

First up is the title track, Raise.  Kid Drama joins Trace to produce a heavyweight sonic fizzer of a bassline, guaranteed to destroy a rig (or live stream from your kitchen) coupled with a stab that sounds like it could be straight off a Lucky Spin record.  This track is set to please fans both old and new.

Survey jumps in the mix on Detroit, a tense, almost Source Direct string leads before dropping into sub-heavy drums and snarling reese-like bass.  Tight engineering and razor sharp sounds complete this apocalyptic stepper.

Timps is a collaboration filled with industrial oil drum hits.  Angry bass waves wash over a minimalistic beat peppered with vocal edits.  Attention to detail is paramount here, with a cheeky throwback edit towards the end of the track.

Old-skool intro chords to start and film-like vocal before dropping into a clash of fighting breakbeats over a subsonic bassline.  As the track progresses, we hear the introduction of techno elements wrapping up the final collaboration on this second CNVX outing for Trace.
