made it more tender

The longing swelled
as I swam unharmed
in seas of sorrow.

Out there

Gracious God,

On this blessed day we lift our hearts to You in praise and thanksgiving. Thank You for the gift of this Sabbath, a day to rest in Your presence and worship You with all we are. Your mercies are new this morning, and we are grateful for Your unending love.
