Pierre d'Estienne d'Orves is Tour-Maubourg, a defining force in France’s contemporary electronic music landscape, shaping the evolution of nu-jazz and house with his distinctive sound. His productions have resonated widely, earning millions of streams on Spotify and establishing him as one of the most compelling artists in recent years.

Drawing from influences like St Germain, Nicolas Jaar, and Ron Trent, he first gained industry recognition with a series of well-received EPs between 2017 and 2020. His debut album, Paradis Artificiels (2020), was met with critical acclaim, securing coverage in imprints such as Tsugi, Trax or DJ Mag and even leading to a televised live performance on Séquences (France Télévision).

In 2023, he pushed his sonic boundaries further with Spaces of Silence, an album that fluidly merges soulful house, acid jazz, and experimental elements, earning praise from critics. The following year, he embarked on a new musical journey alongside French saxophonist Ismael Ndir, blending jazz with electronic textures in their debut duo EP, The Panorama Sessions, recorded in Brussels. His latest release, The Floating on Silence EP and Remixes, features collaborations with K-Lone, I:Cube, and other notable artists on Noire & Blanche.

Tour-Maubourg’s presence extends beyond the studio, as he has performed at some of Europe’s most respected venues, including Rex, Badaboum, Night Tales Loft, or Sisyphos, plus an uncountable number of festivals.

Here's a 5+ hour set from a beautiful night in Vancouver with the Soul Hop crew.  The soundsystem at Vantek was singing, the crowd were getting down and it was one of those nights where 5 hours felt like 1 hour.  Big love to James and Soren and looking forward to doing it all again with Ladymonix on 31st May at Industrial 236.

BOYCOTT brings you an underground attitude, a monthly night at Bitterzoet where we provide you with the best UK Garage, Dubstep, Hiphop, Future Beats and Electro.

Gomes & Vin-E. The godfathers of the UK sound in Holland. Nowadays Gomes is known as the man behind Oi! but this guy used to be the one and only during the garage days early 2000. Skillwise Gomes was the only dj to get near dj EZ's level. His fast way of mixing became the standard and his love for grime became the prelude to bring dubstep to the big crowd. Same goes for Vin-E. Vin-E was pound for pound the best MC out there. Everybody wanted to sound like Vin-E and everybody wanted to spit like MC Vin-E.

This Boycott will be dedicated to the ol school. Gomes & Vin-E will be playing an ol school UK set together with big poppa Cream, these veterans will show where all this whole UK bass thing came from. Because the Guerilla Speakerz will be playing in London that weekend. The Architecs will be replacing them this edition. These young talents know UK and destroy the crowd every single set. DJ Rockid and the Samurai Hippos will complete Team Boycott and Sampiee will navigate this army to WAR!

Guerilla Speakerz, the captains of the BOYCOTT ship, began with BOYCOTT to represent a particular breed of club music that wasn’t getting the shine or recognition it deserved. Influenced by everything from grime and house to hip hop and garage they invited upcoming producers from the UK, France and Australia that would represent the Boycott sound. Expect a full range of electronic dubby rhythmic tunes trampling your ears and force your hands to fist pump yourself through the night.

History: Eprom, Canblaster, Girl Unit, Sinjin Hawke, Greenmoney, Mumdance, Hostage, Woz, Warrior One, Royal T, Manare, Baobinga etcc. These DJ's and the Dutch DJ's we booked like Gomes, Bobby6Killers, Cinnaman, Cream, Karimooo, Brutuzz, Akkachar all fortified the BOYCOTT concept and is therefore seen as one of the leading UK minded parties in Holland.

François K - House Is A Feeling

It was in 2011 that Dutch pair Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets quickly broke through in the electronic music scene. Since then they have become known for their widescreen approach to making and playing club-ready grooves. From deep to disco, tech to soul, they join the dots between the past and the present with their own sense of storytelling and do so in clubs around the world, as well as in their studio. House might be the root of the Dam Swindle sound, but it takes nourishment from a much wider world of music. 

Still now, their breakthrough tunes such as ‘The Wrap Around’ and ‘The Break Up’ receive countless plays on dancefloors all over the world and the duo has made timeless music such as their 2023 disco-house bomb ‘ That’s right’ and 90’s throwback banger ‘Allright – just a tribute’ that became one of the hits of the 2024 festival summer. Dam Swindle has built a trademark sound, while still evolving and maturing their craft in various musical niches. Their landmark 2018 album High Life shows a broad musicality from the duo and this is even more so on their highly anticipated 2025 long player ‘Open’.  ‘Open’ features countless collaborations with high-profile artists such as Dutch pianist Joep Beving and New York-based Ethiopian vocalist Haile Supreme, and sees the duo flex their sound from ambient electronica to synthwave, hiphouse and more. 

Since 2013, the pair has also established their record label Heist Recordings as one of the key independent labels for underground dance music, while also releasing music on other underground mainstays such as Aus Music and Classic Music Company. Heist is more than just a label, though - it is a breeding ground for talents old and new; somewhere talent is nurtured and allowed to develop. Label showcases and special projects such as the yearly Roundup EP; where all artists from the past 12 months remix each other after a random selection process, furthers the family vibe and helps Heist stand out from crowd. Artists such as Cinthie, DJ Sneak, Crackazat, Tesfa Williams, Makèz, Pépé Bradock, Matthew Herbert, Ge-Ology, Byron the Aquarius and many more have all contributed, proving that it is a place for unrestrained creatives to be free with their own sonic visions. The label looks as good as it sounds, too, thanks to visual artist Bas Koopmans's standout artwork designs. 
 
Proof of Dam Swindle's widescreen approach to production is their long and talented list of collaborators, which includes the likes of acclaimed musician Tom Misch, US talent Seven Davis Jr., instrumental collective Jungle by Night, plus Marc de Clive-Lowe, Jitwam and Lorenz Rhode. Next to their own originals, a broad spectrum of artists have asked Dam Swindle for some of their special remix magic: on labels like Strut and Soundway they have reworked the legendary Pat Thomas, aka the ‘Golden voice of Africa,' and gave his single ‘Yamona’ a contemporary electronic edge, as well as The Mauskovic Dance Band’s track ‘Space Drum Machine’ and plenty more artists like Kerri Chandler, Mayer Hawthorne and Tom Misch. As their talent for bridging genres from all over the world continues to attract global attention, high-profile projects keep rolling in from all points on the musical globe. 

Dam Swindle are famously avid collectors of both old and new records, and it shows in their DJ sets, which keep you on your toes as they move freely through the broad world of house music with skillfully blended moods of soulful techno, acid, breaks, disco and more, all to create those special moments that crowds never forget. It is for that reason that their name has become a real stamp of authority and invention in the dance music world. Whatever they do, then, this pair do with irresistible charm.
