'Third Eye Blind' features Dan Bettridge on vocals and electric guitar, Stephen Black (Sweet Baboo)on alto and tenor saxophone, Jack Egglestone (Zervas and Pepper, Future of The Left) on drums, Charlie Francis (producer of REM, Kill it Kid, The Noisettes) on bass, and backing vocals by Maddie Jones (Welsh singer-songwriter). Produced, mixed and mastered by the renowned Charlie Francis.

"On the back of a co-headlined UK tour, independent artists Rona Mac and Dan Bettridge returned to their home-studios in West Wales and set to writing, recording and producing a track together. Heavy Motion is written about the slow, subtle and occasionally painful transition out of your 20’s. Like a second coming of age - the questions of self identity and direction, the seemingly heavier weight of things and the negotiation between running wild and settling down. A song about figuring out who your people are, remembering who you are and grieving a more carefree self. Rona and Dan met on the surf scene in West Wales, and cherish the simple things in life."

“‘Blame' was born out of a desire to do experiment with melody and instrumentation, to try and challenge myself to write on something other than a guitar and see how my voice would fit in a different musical landscape. I also wanted to write a song with a more pop sensibility but still with very honest lyrics about my view of myself as a partner and on a larger scale, the view of someone being involved with another who is constantly on the road or often absent.
