Nothing changed, we just stayed the same

whoever has the power, can’t plug the drain

Constant hypocrisy, misunderstanding
Placing blame, for others stranded
Lost focus, 1st world distress
Pointing fingers, from behind mothers dress

They take your jobs, cause you can’t resist
Staying at home, with your clenched fists
Angry at the world, ‘cause the TV tells you so
But you don’t realise,  we’re all in the hole

Appreciate, what you have
At least you don’t live, out a shopping bag
You can get sick, and get better again
Pissing on the others, to pretend  

Born and born and born again
Each damn one following the same damn trend
Mother, father, brother sister too
All follow the same path, sickening to view



You wanna stay, back in the past?
When you had the power, and the mask
Where do you hide, now everyone can see
There’s nowhere to go! We cannot flee

We’re all hiding, pretending it’s not real
We can’t wake up and sign off on the deal
To realise and understand
There ain’t no future, no long term plan

Get up and fight
Get up and fight tonight
Get up and fight for what you believe
Get up and fight for what we need
