When I was much younger in the late 1970's, I worked on a stage crew behind the Boston Aquarium.  As we were building camera platforms, the musicians began to arrive for afternoon sound check, for that nights gala fund raiser.

We snuck into the event and watched that night's concert alongside the tuxedoed Bostonians, sharing some bud.

The Jain mathematical text Surya Prajnapti (c. 4th–3rd century BCE) classifies all numbers into three sets: enumerable, innumerable, and infinite. Each of these was further subdivided into three orders:[9]

Construction worker called Al constructed for Legoland Windsor England.  Never saw any press on it, so not sure if it was ever used.  This was a screen test in Boston MA.  We trucked it there and re-assembled it for demonstration.  Fully articulated eyes, brows, mouth, neck, shoulders, elbows, and waist, all air driven, with internal stainless steel frame and bearings, as I recall.  It took a tremendous amount of hours to design and construct.  1997-98

Unlike other modular systems of the time, which required modules to be purchased individually and wired by the user, the 2600 was semi-modular with a fixed selection of basic synthesizer components internally pre-wired. The 2600 was thus ideal for musicians new to synthesis, due to its ability to be operated either with or without patch cords. On its initial release it was heavily marketed to high schools and universities.

So every day that she’s been coming over, the drinks and coffee have always tasted fine. Not one fibre in my body did I ever expect her to put anything in there. So here’s what happened. Today, I was sitting down on the couch watching tv while she was in our kitchen, as she always suggests, making the coffee just by herself. Everything is normal, she gossips, I listen and nod and maybe throw in a little chuckle here and there. She finishes her coffee and cleans up, but mine is still around half full. She asks if she can take the cup, I say no because I’d like to have the rest. After she leaves, I finish the rest of my coffee and see a little pink pill poking out of the coffee grounds(?) that have sunk to the bottom. We use a French press.
