This is a song about my 5th Great Grandfather Jacob Hornberger.  He was a Palatine and came to the US on the Pleasant in 1732.  The Pleasant traveled from  Rotterdam to Philadelphia, PA.  The Pleasant arrived in Philadelphia on October 11, 1732.  The captain was James Morris.

This song started with me writing the lyrics.  Dick (Oorlab) then created the basis of the song.  We then invited Eric (Pleudoniem) to add bass.  Finally I fit in a little pedal steel.
