A Little Messed Up - june ( Official Music )

Ethan Bortnick expresses relatable angst and anger over today’s world with an energetic soundscape that features his virtuoso piano skills in a heavy-hitting genre-fluid alternative song. In the chorus, Bortnick repeats the refrain “I don’t want to be part of the Dino Club,” summarizing the idea that the future generations need to learn from the mistakes of past generations in order to preserve the human race and avoid extinction….. Aka joining the “The Dino Club”. The cheeky song holds magnificent truth and draws comparisons of major social epidemics throughout history. The global tobacco epidemic (cigarette usage) killed millions of people, yet repeats itself through a new masked product (Juul) for the new generation. Both were advertised in appealing ways, government-approved, and appealed to the next generation of vulnerable minds. “The Dino Club” continues to draw comparisons to young influential music icons dying in all aspects of history, Amazon and AI being the new mafia, and Earth rotting due to climate change, thus making humans the next mass extinction (paralleling the Dinosaurs).
