The Coat

Look at that man, with the gum hair
Lying on a curb just off the city square
People feel sorry for him as they stare

It's 90 degrees, and that man is wearing a coat
He's got it zipped up all the way past his throat
The thing probably smells like Hogan's goat
He's a crazy man

She lived in a flat on the east side
