Evil Empire was a Rage Against the Machine tribute band with members Mario Polastri on vocals, Mike Hass on guitar, and Dan Mackey on drums. There were bass players that collaborated in the years of this band. Paul Grumby was the original bassist of Cage (later named "Evil Empire"). Paul played in local bands Long Green Hair and Jonas Grumby.

TUAN was a collaboration effort with ex-bass player Scott Eishold from local band favorite “Long Green Hair”, and guitarists/singer songwriter Anthony Mehlhorn from the Ireland based rock band “TUAN”, and Dan Mackey on drums from local band "Evil Empire" a Rage Against the Machine tribute band. Later on, guitarist Jose Kulik from the local band "Mullethead" was added. With their self titled EP “TUAN”, the trio sparked interest from Road Runner Records, Elektra Records, and Sony Records out of NYC. Bobby Coleman from Springfield,MA also managed the band while networking with A&amp;R representatives. The song "Cruelest Piece" was featured on Lazer 99.3 FM.
