For a prolific producer like @UBX127 one EP just wasnt enough to keep up with his continuous output of high quality techno.

Constant Permutation Part 2 picks up where its predecessor left off and provides for another batch of deadly club weapons. Living up to its title, beatless Explorations sends out eerie signals deep into outer space, anticipating with suspense to maybe find some life forms response. It arrives in form of driving track Felt and its ricocheting, arpeggiated synths, which would aptly soundtrack the decent of alien attack ships on our planet. Weighty, yet mysterious Ornsberg seems to echo with the cries of long lost souls that have been trapped eternally inside its icy caverns.

The EP ends with a masterclass in immersive sound design, a constant ebb and flow of layers, winding their way into the listeners subconscious. Filling up a pair of twelves to the brim with tunes this well thought out and executed, UBX127 further displays his vast potential and leaves us with excitement for whatever he might be coming up with next.

Label-head Florian Meindl recently released his third artist album „Time Illusion“ on FLASH and is preparing the album remixes from Sigha, Lucy and TWR72. 

In the meanwhile you can take a quick look into the past with this collection of remastered Remixes including the legendary 18min long Radio Slave Remix of „8bit Romance“, Stephan Bodzin’s timeless masterpiece of „The Beginning“ as well as Electric Rescue’s sophisticated deep remix of „Solitaire“. 

In addition to those three remixes Florian did a fresh beatless drone rework of 8 Bit Romance with his modular synthesizers and other analog gear.

After solemnly closing out the SPC-series in 2016, Jeroen Search hands in his second EP of the year for Figure. Carrying his signature style, these tunes embody the live-recording feel he is known for, perfectly executed and arranged in clean-cut layers.

Both tracks on the A-side feature big and beefy beats, their generous sub-range creating ample space for the juxtaposing elements to effectively slice through, whether it be the penetrating bleeps of ‘Deduced’ or the piercing rides on ‘Interval’.

Things get bumpy on the flip when the rugged but undeniable groove of ‘Steady Pulse’ firmly stands its ground against repeated onslaughts of flailing percussion. The jolty rhythms and tinkling loops of ‘Endless Circles’ may seem like it being the odd one out, but unexpectedly merge into an intricate mesh of sounds, making for a most memorable closer to this jam-packed EP.
