Now it’s time for the guest in our traditional part of the show – The Guestmix…
Today our guest in the Guestmix part is Dan Victor. Dan whose real name is Deyan Viktorov was born is Sofia in 89’. In 2005 he discovers the house music – the music which vibes are always making him get fun. Pushed by interest and curiosity 2 years after this discovery he starts mixing his first sets. Dan Victor is influenced by many djs and formations such as: Roger Sanchez, Laidback Luke, Swedish House Mafia, Pete Tong, Fedde le Grand, Eric Prydz and many more. Over the years his style has changed to more funky house & electro house sound. Of course, that doesn’t mean that he’s not interested in other influences in EDM. Sometimes he likes trance sound coming by artists like: Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond,Gareth Emery. After all in 2012 he decided to make his set public under the artistic name – Dan Victor. From then he plays monthly podcast called – Bocadillo Radioshow in which he mixes house/progressive house/electro house and trance tracks. Besides mixing Dan Victor makes his first steps in producing music. Just before leaving Svetlio recorded an interview with him, which we gonna hear in the beginning of Dan Victor’s set.

Dan Victor: - Good evening Svetlio! Good evening and to all fans of Club Beats! : )
S.K.: As we understand from your introduction, you’re a fan of a lot of styles in Electronic Dance Music. Monthly thousands of tracks come out on the scene. What is your way to stay informed about the new stuff in all those genres?
D.V.: Well, usually I listen to sets much more than to tracks.  In the last year this proportion began to change, but mostly I expand my impressions on the new stuff through sets from different festivals, events & shows.
S.K.: When you started mixing for the first time what was the equipment you used and was it hard for you in the beginning?
D.V.: I started with pc and software, I actually still use software for promos. Every new beginning is tough but the desire and the pleasure of what came out was leading me.
S.K.: When did you learn mixing on players? 
D.V.: Well, umm, that happened lately thanks to a friend of mine who is deeper into things. But truly the feeling is unique and much more different!
S.K.: Have you ever been thinking that in some part of your life u can make djing a job or this is something you like to do for fun?
D.V.: This always has been a pleasure for me, if someday it becomes a real job I’ll never cheat to myself i.e. to play something different from the styles I like : )
S.K.: What is necessary to make a good set?
D.V.: There is no exact recipe about that, after all a good set is classified as such by the listeners. :) But if I got to jot down a few things they will be: a lot of feelings, ideas and thoughts.
S.K.: In this line of thoughts, tell us something more about Bocadillo? For our listeners I’ll explain that in Spanish Bocadillo means Sandwich. What do you put in it for the audience to like it?
D.V.: That’s right, it means traditional Spanish sandwich. A short stay in Spain influenced me to give the show this name. I put different components the most important from which is the energy which loads u with positive emotions and feelings!

Did u remember the first producer who caught your attention so much that you decided that u must hear everything from him?
D.V.:  Actually, I don’t know the name of the producer I’ve listened to everything. But I know the one I’ve listened the most. That is definitely @StanKolev!
S.K.: Stan Kolev is a good friend of our show too .:)
When and where was the first time you’ve been to a real party? 
D.V.: My first real party was in 2008 on a gig of David Vendetta who at this time was working with the famous virtuoso of the electronic violin – Micah. The event was in club Sinners in Sofia which unfortunatelly closed down.
S.K.: Tell us more about your debut on stage? Of course, for us there is no matter the number of the crowd u’ve played in front of  and whether it was in front of 100 or 10 people, but the first time is unforgettable for every dj, right?
D.V.: Well, it was on one private party of a close friend of mine in a small club. There were around 30-40 people of different ages. I found that I’m going to play when I arrived at the event, which was a surprise for me, but when the audience started to respond to the music I was mixing the feeling was incredible : ) 
S.K: Were you worried at the beginning?
D.V.: Of course I was! :D 
S.K.: What are u dream for?
D.V.: I’m dreaming to be happy & mostly to be free : )
S.K.:  At the end tell us shortly about your experience in producing music?
D.V.: Producing music to me is a whole universe. Till now I’ve got few mash-ups of specific tracks and I’ve got 2-3 co-productions which are waiting to be finished : )
S.K.: We wish luck in future!

 Hey guys few weeks ago i've finished a project with young and very talented fashion designer  called Yordan Mihalev. This is the music I’ve mixed for his performance at Labo Ethnik fashion show in Paris.
