Next up on Alchemista is a collaboration by Feph & Mr. Tron called “Concentro.” A groovy track with cosmic elements that is meant for the dance floor. We also have two excellent remixes by Albert Chiovenda (Granulart, SRIE, Evod) and Translate (Axis, Warm-Up, SRIE). Both bring their own interpretation that is nothing short of quality. With Sci-Fi, hypnotism and effective percussion throughout both remixes, this is a well-rounded collection of sound and groove.

For Token’s 120th release, the imprint reintroduces scene favorite ORBE for another EP. Revered for his deep and viscous textures over stark rhythms, the Spaniard furthers his point in four calculated and layered examples.

Opening with deeply filtered synth work, ORBE takes his time to subtly introduce shrill tension in the first track, displaying control in a progressive arrangement. He’s quickly able to accentuate his intention with a single stab, providing a shimmer and a sharp edge to a rounder-bodied record. Turning over to Andromeda 2, we switch to a dryer lead with a convoluted ambiance, giving a driving track more structure through contrasted transitions. ORBE intensifies the rest of the cut with an electrifying noise circling around the mainland of his identifiably layered work. Alleviating some harshness from the main components, the artist dives into a more liquid and cavernous environment. Pressing through with sustained keys, ORBE continues to evoke a sense of suspense even in his more adventurous tracks. Anticipation rises and falls with the sustain of his resonant lead, taking us to the final chapter of Andromeda. To round off the cosmic voyage our artist departs with what, in the beginning, seems like another intimidating presentation of thick synthlines whipping across a steady rhythm -  but then comes a surprisingly ethereal pad, oscillating throughout Andromeda 4, to indicate a safe arrival from a nail-biting story.

Over the last two years, it has explored several shades of sound, always with high-quality production and forward-thinking styles. A fine balance has always been struck between new and emerging talents and established names with plenty more to say, and that is the case on this collection which features the legendary likes of Blawan, Gary Beck, Colin Benders, The Advent and Dax J next to ANNĒ, Alarico, JakoJako, Chlär, LDS and many more.

Founder SHDW says, "I've poured my heart into curating a compilation of 36 tracks, a reflection of my deepest musical passions. The core idea of Ruminations was to create an album, which took its musical influences from ambient music. A genre, which in the author’s opinion, has mostly been forgotten overtime and is beginning to be unheard of in the modern era. As well as this, I wanted to convey a statement on the current political events and social events and how this could be portrayed through music.

New Year kicks off for MindTrip with the 4th edition of our Mutable Minds series. This time label boss Pfirter selected 4 different yet unique and powerful tracks from new comers as well as already established artists on the label.

The VA starts with SRIE's label heads, Translate & Pulso, from Buenos Aires who worked together on dissecting compositions down to sparse rhythmic explorations, disruptive power shifts and nebulous bass bliss embodied in one track called Moriarty. Next comes Kike Pravda, the well-known Spanish DJ, producer and Senoid Recordings' owner, with his signature modular and bass heavy sound on Heat.

Nørbak introduced himself to the MindTrip world with his exclusive mix on MindTrip Podcast episode 38 and now he returns on this VA with his tune Avadhuta. Melbourne-based Vohkinne is on closing duties for this VA with his track Active Radio, a pure straighter dancefloor fare.

This mixture of great musicians from all over the world, combining the sound of electronic music, is making Mutable Minds IV so unique. Take a close listen.
