Dan has been around the music scene for quite some time. His original songwriting started as lead guitar player and primary songwriter for Ember (of Clearfield, PA). He has played many stages, opening for bands like, Witness Protection Program, Red, Stereos, etc... Dan also served as worship leader in many capacities across high school, college, small groups, large groups, and Sunday morning services. He also plays guitar in Christ Community Church of Camp Hill's worship team and has been a member of many other worship teams. 

In recent years Dan Short has been building his home studio and learning his studio inside and out. He has taken interest in pioneering his way into EDM music. In this time Dan has learned DJ skills and has grown his focus on rhythm and tone. Dan has scored a pair of songs for use in movies. He is currently working on recording songs for electronic worship. He hopes to redefine the genre and make good use of his talents. 
Dan currently performs acoustic based shows with a revolving cast of supporting musicians. He plays with Zack Andrews, Ken Dale, Tom Grosz, Bill McCreary, Chelsea Dandy, Bryon Rudolph, and many other local talents.
